Great coaching and team chemistry is better than 3 diva superstars any day.

The best part was the last 2 minutes of this vid featured a lot of dudes who just sit on the bench mostly (Jeffries, Milton, etc) and they still defend right.

Makes sense though. Mostly bench players out there, so he is using this time to teach them and coach them to be tough and do things right. Its the best experience the deep bench will get.

Thibs doesn't care if you're a starter playing the whole game or a 3rd string who only comes out when up 20 in the 4th. You're still expected to play at a high level and if you mess up you're gonna hear it. This team is the epitome of HARD WORK. 💪

it's vids like this that give coach thibs his props. the whole starting lineup has been out sometimes and they're STILL gonna win around 50 games. thibs most def gotta be coach of the year

For sure, a lot of the top teams in the league would barely make the play-in without their star player to base everything around.

This channel dips into teams playing good defense and good offense. The variety is fun

This is a great breakdown. The only other thing I would point out is how much the Knicks players communicate while they are on defense.

That's how you build a team that can withstand injuries to all of its starters and STILL be a top 10 team. Everyone is expected to work hard, no special treatment given.

So coaching is everything in basketball at every level. But the 5 guys on the court have to practice these types of good defense. Defense seems like certain teams have alot more pride and unity then others
