In Blue Bloods a portrait of Teddy is on the wall of Selleck's character's office. And the character sometimes quotes Roosevelt too.

Well, Travis, a person's political leaning says a lot about that person and what they value. Not that it would be impossible to enjoy a conversation with him. But you know, probably Leggo My Ego leans on the left and maybe they find it more difficult to only see his good sides and disregard that he would be someone working against what Leggo My Ego believes, since Tom has endorsed Republicans and supports the NRA and stole water during the drought. Which doesn't mean they shouldn't be treated respectfully as another human being.

Blue Bloods is also right wing conservative propaganda too- a vehicle to promote the idea that all protesters and students and human rights activist are villains just out to try and frame good wholesome honest cops

divinuminfernum Blue Bloods sometimes handles these issues and yes the show is told from the viewpoint of police officers and department but I wouldn't call it propaganda. Main characters sure are overly righteous, one-sided ones but which mainstream cop show's characters aren't? The episodes featuring the African American reverend backed by neighbourhood protesters are a bit tedious. I too always expect those episodes to be apologetic to the cops and damning to the activists but IMO this has seldom been the case. Those episodes are just boring and repetitive. I'd rather leave those topics to the news and current affairs programmes.

My dad recently passed away from COVID and I find myself watching Mr. Selleck’s interviews all the time because it’s crazy how much they look alike. Even the hand movements and how they dress. 💔

Tom's got such an awesome sense of humor. I'd love to meet him one day.
Guess it's too early to mention that there's a new Magnum PI on the way, and it follows on from that final scene. Thomas Magnum's daughter returns to Hawaii to continue get father's legacy as a PI. I have high hopes for it, as the showrunner for Leverage, John Rogers, is looking after it!

I saw Tom Selleck in the audience at a theatre once - it's amazing he could fit in a standard stalls seat. After the show I glanced over my shoulder and he was moving through the foyer like an ocean liner in those photos you see of them surrounded by smaller craft. :-)
Sooo he quit being an ophthalmologist to be in an office that just sad. And he look like he let himself loose Monica would be worried.

I would've fainted if he called ME and said I could visit his set. When my sister, mom and I watched the movie Three Men And A Baby, my mom was madly in love with Tom Selleck, my sister was with Steve Gutenberg and I was with Ted Danson. My mom liked Tom Selleck so much that one time she and my dad had an argument over something she'd said about Selleck that he found out about by accident.
