Finally! I never NEVER liked Rachel ( let’s call her by her real name), it’s was a gut feeling,she irritated me,the dumb act ( act ?) ,the Bambi eyed innocence look….all of it, and I just knew,she was there to be seen, to be ‘ discovered’,and I guess she got her wish? I'm with you. I've never cared for her either. She seemed to play the dumb blonde role but I feel she knew exactly what she was doing. It was a strong feeling I got while she was with James. You could tell she wanted more time on the show so she acted up to get more time. So happy it finally came out. Her and Sandoval need to be fired from the show. If not, I don't think I could keep watching. It would seem so fake if they stayed.

Schwartz was scared for his career. He felt trapped. He knows Sandoval is stubborn and that he couldn’t easily influence him to tell the truth to the public without collateral damage. Schwartz knew either way it was over. He tried to stay silent, most likely in hopes that Sandoval would figure out the most optimal course of action. Things came out earlier than anticipated. Schwartz is now facing exactly what he knew would happen, which is why he tried to avoid shining the light on Sandoval’s skeleton closet. He probably just wanted to postpone, and postpone, and postpone ever doing the right thing….two selfish people, fueled by money, ego, and perception.

Zach you are a smart guy! I've been a reporter and journalist for 15 years, although not in LA. HOWEVER - You're spot on here with the staged bit, dynamics between reporters and sources, logistics of being at the airport at the right place/right time, etc. etc! This is the first video I've seen of yours and I'm an instant fan.

Swartz has no backbone. He has never taken a stand on anything so of course it was staged. Tom probably called TMZ himself and the only reason he’s speaking out now is because the whole thing is hurting him in the purse!

The statement, “Hate the game, not the player” is a psychological excuse to behave badly. Take ownership in the pride you represent; in the light you represent.

What's sad I believe Katie truly loves Swartz only wanted him to give her the loyalty he gave Sandoval. He never had Katie's back. Perhaps now Swartz will see what Katie's been saying for years. As for rachett she's a snake.

Putting Tom on the spot about the timeline is really unfair because the affair is none of his business but Sandoval and Rachel’s mess and nastiness has messed up Schwartz life as well, it is pretty obvious whenever this came out is was going to be a big mess and they are on their knees financially. Sandoval could potentially have financially ruined both of them. Schwartz was in a no win situation whatever he did. No one would want to be in his position. He did the only thing he could do, advised Sandoval to speak to Ariana and not humiliate her by wronging her. He didn’t choose to be a part of this mess it was forced on him. Whatever he did would be wrong.

He easily could have given Arianna heads up or casually invited her to catch them. For Swartz to continue to back Sandoval against Katie and Scheana. Exactly why Katie got out he never had her back. I'm glad Katie got out. While she and Arianna adventure goes up at least she's not responsible for half of his losses.

@Zack Peter and they're coming back for that paycheck, even Ariana, if she doesn't pick up more acting roles. Not sure about Rachel, who will have the hardest re-entry...none of them trust or like her now. I think she has low social intelligence and was trying to maintain relevance on the show...we're supposed to think they were all loyal friends but outside of the show, probably not.. Ariana faced the most humiliation, but I think she will end up forgiving Rachel in time.

The day the scandal came out she did press with Schaena and they asked what was the last text you got and she said she was in a group chat with both the Toms. So clearly he stopped talking to her when it was public not before -- coward... 😑

Scheana and Raquel did WWHL that night and at the same time, Tom was doing his show and that's when his phone fell and Ariana picked it up and found everything. Ariana sent the msg to the other cast mates which is when Scheana found out and her and Raquel got in a fight about it when they were done filming the show. That press thing where Raquel says about her last texts was filmed earlier that day so nothing was public yet. But I don't believe that Schwartz didn't know. The Toms are way too close and were together even more than usual because of opening their restaurant. The only way I would think he didn't know is if Sandoval lied to him and told him he was busy with his band but was really with Raquel. Cuz Schwartz complained about that on an episode where he said he felt the place should've been open and should've been top priority but Sandoval was always off doing stuff for the band.

Schwartz has seemed so lovable for so long, but the gig is up, for me at least. He’s a grown ass man, he bows down to Sandoval, he put Katie through unnecessary stress and heartbreak by faking a make out session with Rachel, all to protect his master. I’m over Schwartz. He hurt Katie and Ariana and made himself look like an ass, all to protect Tom. But he says it in a sweet and soft and innocent way, and hesitates his words (as usual) and kind of stutters and struggles to get his words out, then kind of scratches his head like he doesn’t know what’s going on, etc. He’s just a big joke now. Grow up!!!

How is this Schwartz’s fault? This is stupid. Who hasn’t held a secret for their best friend? This is out of hand.

Thanks for confirming the tmz thing was planned. I didn’t believe any of this latest drama at first, but have now changed my mind. Of course Schwartz knew all along - Sandavol is his bestie, so I kinda don’t blame him for covering his arse, as controversial as that is- that’s what friends do. Schwartz should at least be honest about that part- he’s definitely known from the beginning which I believe was way longer than 7 months

I don’t hate anyone, but Schwartz more than anyone gets away with his dumb “ oh I don’t know what to do” act. Didn’t he always cheat on Katie and then end up playing the victim in that? Poor, poor Schwartz, give me a break! Now everybody hates Racquel because she’s the female version of Schwartz. They both have the knack for playing that doe eyed innocence charade.

I am repeating myself, but, I will never believe that none of the cast didn't know about the affair. They are in everyone's business all the time. I believe that Scheana, Schwartz and Arianna knew all along. Sandoval and Rachel are not smart enough to stay under the radar for that long. LVP said that they were hoping to clear everything up at the reunion, that sounds as though they knew about it, before the story broke. They were hoping to get through the season without this bomb exploding, that didn't happen. The fallout is massive, and now they are scrambling to clean up the debris. Schwartz is trying to save face, only because it's affecting his business. The reunion is going to be epic. IMO

💯 Knowingly or not Schwartz was the beard for Tom and Rachel. Granted loyalty is an admirable quality "blind loyalty" is not. I saw that TMZ interview he was still being loyal or else he would have been more honest about how messed up this Scandoval really is and I definitely think it was staged.

It was 100% staged. I also felt he was more worried about his business than he was the hurt and pain he has caused the group. Sandoval & Rachel caused the most pain but Schwartz isn't innocent either

The whole SL is staged... I think they had a mutual breakup and just lived together as friends. Then Tom and Raquel hooked up after. That pissed Arianna off. The rest of the foolishness materialized when Andy and Bravo got involved. Bravo is well known for this on these shows.

Since Andy Cohen issued a statement today to reassure viewers that the upcoming episodes were not re-edited, you have to wonder what really went on. Just throwing out wild ideas, maybe Tom and Ariana were really just friends in an open relationship, and did not want to lose their high paying job, so they kept it under wraps. Only thing that does not fit is the restraining order. I don't think production would go so far as to involve the courts.

We can't forget Schwartz & Scandy are in business together. The two of them have covered for each other for yrs. Schwartz isn't going to say squat.

I haven’t like Sandoval since about Season 3. I began to feel he was a phony and a lot of it was how Jax reacted to him. Jax doesn’t have a lot of room to criticize and he was hiding things for Tom for a LONG time which is why he lost patience with the relationship. I always liked Schwartz but I didn’t like the way he never stood up for Katie and now him being in the middle of this? It’s ugly and if he knew and kept things quiet then he’s crap. He was Ariana’s friend also and shouldn’t have EVER known. I think Ariana is in for the best time in her life being away from Tom Sandoval and I’m all about her. I’ll watch her movie regardless of how well it’s done. I want to see her happy.

Plus after all these years of being on TV you sure would think they would be very selective about what they say and do knowing there are cameras and paparazzi watching them. Also I think the difference was when he got busted kissing Ariana from what they found out it was only a one time thing. This with Rachel has been happening for months. Don’t forget Ariana was not friends with Chris N back then either. From what I’ve seen Rachel spent a lot of time with Ariana. They are around each other a lot. Schwartz mentioned Tom was missing in action for about 3 months to there business supposedly because of his band, in few episodes back (obvious cheating not band issues) but, obviously it was due to his relationship with Racheal. However, vanderpump rules has always had cheating scandals so lay off Rachael. Sandoval is a really bad guy once again who cheated again as well as with Miami girl. I hope Schwartz realizes he's a pawn yet again in his (sandavol s )diabolical world. Wish tom Schwartz would man up and stand for what's real and right in reality of life. I think sandavol is a narcissistic man and uses even Schwartsz too for his own narrative always.. unfortunately Schwartz doesent see it. That's really sad.

Look, this is only my opinion. If you know that your best friend is cheating on her boyfriend of many years, are you really telling me that you’re going to go up to her boyfriend and tell him what your best friends doing, or..are you gonna tell your best friend that she needs to speak up and come clean because secrets never stay that way. I’ve always heard that the one that’s a tattletale ends up being the one that’s ousted, because usually a couple end up getting back together. I’m just saying I would’ve done exactly what Schwartz did.

anyone else wondering why Arianna was OK with Rachel sleeping in her house with Tom when she wasn't there? I wonder if this whole thing started as a 3some and just escalated. There was always a swap energy between James/Rachel and Tom/Arianna. Tom was just TOO involved with the whole Rachella engagement- why was paying for stuff? Wouldn't that have made Arianna upset that he's footing the bill for another woman's engagement surprise? As much as I think Rachel has some serious issues that are now being made public, I just feel like there was more to all of this. IMO

This whole thing is funny as hell. Why is this a scandal? You would think they are Hollywood elite. Move on people. This has been happening on this show since it started. Tom was stiil with Kriaten when Ariana started running with him. Arianna didn't seem to mind hurting Kristen. I dont feel sorry for Arianna. Karma came a knocking. I can't understand Schwartz still acting like "poor Sandoval ".. You were used in so many horrible ways. 9 months of an affair is what kept Sandoval from working on the bar, hence Schwartz paying out rent in an unopened business forcing his home to be foreclosed on. There is no doubt I the beginning, Sandoval pulled Schwartz to work the bar over and over, playing into his divorce. And Sandoval even had the balls to spend all the time he wasn't playing with Rachel, playing in a damn band instead of working. No matter how you look at it, Schwartz friendship with Sandoval has 100% destroyed his life. And WORSE? Sandoval had the rent money for the unopened business because Ariana obviously supported him and probably financially.

I love all the points you made. It was staged, but I’m sure that Swartz has a load of lines rehearsed for the basic questions everyone is asking. He didn’t want to break bro code with Sandoval his business partner and best friend so he knew at least a little b4 everyone else did. Now Swartz is just trying to save his rep and businesses. Ask these young adults could learn a big lesson on life with this happening. Maybe they will be more careful in their lives. May the right be righteous and the wrong be punished

The cast of VPR are just a commodity to Lisa and I found it very strange that Lisa and Ken telling the Tommies that they will give the Toms there 5% investment bk from the Tom,Tom, bar to help them out 🤔just my opinion I think Lisa was tipped off by someone about the affair way b4 anyone els found out and I think Lisa and ken are on the move to cut tie’s with the tommy boy’s.

Interesting theory. None of it seems right to me either. I think Tom and Arianna had a mutual breakup and continued to live together as friends. Then he started seeing Raquel. They kept it from her because they are all friends. I do believe Arianna may have seen something on his phone and that is how it all came to light. Arianna got pissed not because Tom was cheating on her but because it was a friend in the group he was seeing. Then Bravo, LVP and Andy got involved and this is the BS they spun for ratings and a paycheque.

This whole mess is something that happens to ordinary people all over the place every single day. But these people are on reality TV so the whole world gets to take a punch. It's turned into beating a Dead Horse at this point. Frankly, the worst part is the betrayal of a friendship between Ariana and Rachel, but there are many scenes where it's apparent Ariana knew of Tom's interest in Rachel. And most people are failing to recognize Ariana's intelligence and craftiness in sticking it to Tom. Watch the hot tub scene at Scheana's wedding and see Ariana and Tom's face and how they move apart after the threesome pic. There are other scenes. Tom said on Mandel's show that Ariana threatened suicide if they broke up and said she refused to split up. Ariana finally gets her recognition and support and she's happier than she's been in a very long time, she got an acting role and new beau so let them all eat cake! They are all in a reality trap and handled the split badly, but the blood has run out. No need to keep stabbing.

I was watching Kristen D and she said Sandoval told his mom in Dec and he told Schwartz a month later. No sure how she knows this but she was on this show on behalf of Ariana 🤷🏽‍♀️
