Henning was born in my hometown and is born the same year. Blows my mind I could've been in a class with him, if I went to a different school.

Ok both peoples voices are absolutely spectacular but I feel like the first guy isn’t getting enough recognition. His voice was peculiar in a way the just forces you to listen over and over. It’s absolutely brilliant. That being said the other person also has an amazingly rich and beautiful voice as well. I just feel like the first guy just is not getting the attention that’s deserved.

Best about him (Henning May) and the band (AnnenMayKantereit), they started as street artist and made it all the way up. Soul all the way. It's about the music and feelings, nothing else. They even state they don't like mobile phones filming them while giving concerts. It's about the moment, the feelings, the joy, the pain, the music. Giant Rooks doing a fantastic job aswell.

the first time i heard this it blew me away and sent to so many of friends, some musicians and they too were like WTH ..HOW ? THIS CANT BE. They played in Boston last spring at small club-tickets only $60. The young man with the deeper voice (Henning May)reminds me of cross between Joe Crocker and Louis Armstrong.

AnnenMayKantereit 's voice does things to me. Literally every time I hear it I melt.

I think they’re a German group. I think they had a lot of success in Germany, but now they’re totally gonna blow up internationally. Interesting though that he has that voice being from over there. Either he grew up with parents who listened to people like Louis Armstrong, or he found and listened to people like that, or came to the USA for a bit or something. But it’s very interesting and I’d love to know where he learned to sing like that.
