@@PatrickPierceBateman The lead vocal here is McGuinn. He was one of the guests at these shows, and the band did some Byrds songs with him. TP sings on the chorus harmony.

Roger wrote the song with Gram Parsons. It was inspired by their interactions with WSM dj Ralph Emery.
