Yann Ngameni Yes, pop music needs more pianists in general, and TO is very good. Plus, he has very clean fingernails, which men should have if they possibly can. And a big schnoz (personal preference). I find nothing objectionable about TO.

The melody of this track makes it such a fantastic cover - in particular the chorus, how he hangs the vocals when singing 'in' and 'been'. Tom Odell transforms the song into his own, but still manages to retain the power of the lyrics. I'd love to see what he could do with other pop songs... An album waiting to happen.

I think Tom delivered us the REAL PAIN that Taylor went through that time with this cover. Haha

Actually, his voice is flawed. You can clearly notice that throughout the song. BUT that differentiates him from other artists. Once you learn to wear you flaws on your shoulders this beautifully, it takes you emotionally to a higher place. I wouldn't want a 'polished', 'pitch perfect' studio version from him. The way he uniquely sings his songs makes it more believable. This is an old cover but in present/2018, it's so amazing to know that he's still actively making music but his voice has changed so much in a good way. Now his voice is mellow and mature. One of the rare gems!
