I don't think he wants to be super famous and mainstream, he's all about the simplicity, and not about the fancy and money. He's really genuine, and I don't see him go with the stream

when alice merton sang ,"you'll miss me when i'm gone," i really felt that.

I'm 61 years on planet earth guy, and your song gave me goosebumps. How does someone get to be Tom Odell? Whatever, this kind of talent comes few and far between for this world. I happen to be a composer of classical music, so I've heard some amazing music in my life, and Tom Odell has given a great gift to anyone who cares to listen, these truly heartfelt songs. Thanks so much for that.

Yes I'm an older generation in my mid sixties and remember the 60s and 70s when greaf tunes were around and you could hear the vocals clearly. I think Tom is musical renaissance

Maybe one of the most beautifully done songs I heard this year. Absolutely magnificent. Especially the video is masterfully done. I really like how Tom and Alice both are only shown from the side, and always the complementary side to each other. Just wonderful.

Yas, it's like "wrong crowd" album. First with "here I am", when he tries to enter to the party, then with the party on "wrong crowd", continued by "magnetised" when she remember a girl, and finally with the "silhouette" video, is the same girl. 🤔

1 small Connection is that in every song in the Jubilee Road it mentions Purple somewhere in the song. For example Purple Shoes in Half As Good As You Purple Dungarees in Jubilee Road Purple Eyes in China Dolls

Tom Odell is the king of songs about love as it really is... One beautiful mess of thorns and roses that we find so amazing but is bound to hurt us in some way, even when carefully handled.

I highly recommend her songs--the girl's GOT IT!!! Probably her biggest hit so far was "No Roots" (I recommend that whole EP!) My personal favorites are that song, "Lash Out", "Jealousy"...and "Why So Serious" is great too!)
