My heart bursts everytime time I listen to this masterpiece 💔 I have loved your music, your voice and your songs from the start. When you sing we can hear your words. My mum who is 90 loves you and has a couple of your albums. Now she said a few years ago, " Tom Odell, I like him. I can hear everything he says. Thats makes him a star." Beautiful poetic lyrics. ❤

I heard the arrangement he did with an individually mic’d choir on Graham Norton and it was jawdropping. I ended up putting the mahogany session version on my Spotify playlist because the studio recording isn’t as powerful without the piano lead and choir. i relate to this so much i am young idk why i relate to everything that’s sad or problems with mental health or relationship problems the part it says “ I wanna perfect like all your other friends “ is very relatable to me because my best friend has other friends who are better than me who acts better then me who looks better than me they are js perfect.. and I feel like I’m just nothing mostly they act better than me. Ig that’s why my best friend doesn’t really hang out with me.
