Job applications, government applications, random questionnaires, DMV records, Etc. They all have check boxes asking about your "ethnicity". Usually categorized as: □ white / Caucasian, □African American,□ Asian, □Hispanic / Latino, □other. Some forms may have it listed a bit differently. But almost everything you have to fill out asks about that. I recently found out that it's just here in America.

What he's pointing out here isn't that America has a gun problem. The problem is with the unemployment rate.

It's not harder for some to get a job then a gun most instances. A felon will find it very difficult to get a job because of his record and he can't walk into a gun shop and can't buy a gun. Do he buys one on the street and uses it to commit crimes because he needs to eat. If a law abiding citizen wants a gun, he can buy one in a gun shop but may find it very hard to get a job due to unemployment issues. So yes, if you buy the gun in a shop or the street you can get one. If you want a job, you may be waiting a while either way.

The purpose to that lyric is yoki you can say what you want you can talk that trash the someone's actually trying to save our country is supposed to hush

I dont think I pass a small business that doesnt have a help wanted sign. My wifes business cant get an employee under the age of 35 to even show up on time. Its incredible. Most dont last 2 weeks. I dont see the correlation between guns and employment. Lol

As far as why that line was thrown in there, Imo, Eminem is a public figure that people are familiar with. And while he does do whatever the F he wants, his stance did seem to go from one side 2 the other fairly quickly. Tom isn't calling anyone out. Just pointing out a well-known example. One of many. He doesn't believe in censoring a message. But he does believe in monitoring what the children are being exposed to. And the volume of that exposure. He's not saying for the dad to stop listening. Just realize that he's listening to those lyrics with his daughter in the car, and realize what that imposes on her young mind. He's just asking the dad to think about it before blasting the song. And maybe for society to not promote those messages as heavily as they do. A lot of times he presents two different sides of something, because that is what Society is doing. They will argue about one thing, while standing for something else that goes against the first thing they were arguing for🙄. Many people stand on contradictory issues. He's just asking people to realize that that is what they are doing in a lot of cases. As far as the tiny screens, they are a major platform for him. But they are not the only one that he utilizes. And he wasn't complaining about them , so much as pointing out how chained we are to them.

I just can get into tom or take him seriously. He seems like the lyrical equivalent of clickbait thumbnails. Saying controversial shit to get views.

Tom has referenced em since long before that. But at no point do I think that he ever tried to bait him. I think as a whole Tom has mad respect for him. He acknowledges him as a goat. But he's also not afraid of calling out things he doesn't agree with. And what he called out here is something that em himself did not agree with. After all he did apologize and back pedal after doing it. So he knew that it was wrong. Is em supposed to get mad at Tom for pointing out that he did something that he needed to apologize for? I like to think that Em is not that petty. People are so quick to say "Man he used your name you better call him out". But what is it that was said? Tom said em did something, something that em felt he had to apologize for. Why get mad that He pointed out a fact? He didn't call em weak, pathetic, an asshole, etc. He just said em did this.
