2024 and still listening to the best pop singer of the the 20th century. This ballad is just one of our favorites. And it seems he still has his voice. Thanks, Tom, for the memories.

What a voice!!!! This is unbelievable vocal talent!! My Mother always played Tom Jones especially on Sunday afternoons, at the time as a child, I couldn't understand why she would play certain songs repeatedly, sit back in her favourite chair and just closed her eyes. As I got older and grew to understand love, I realised that these songs were her therapy when there were problems in her marriage. Apart from the incredible vocals, the lyrics are so deep and relatable!! Sir Tom Jones. I salute you and the body of work you have made...they don't make music like these anymore!!!

The 60’s were a great era for music! With that being said, new age artists make some great music as well. When you were a kid I’m assuming the older generations then also disliked the music your generation was listening to, as this happens every time. I’m 21 and I love music from this generation and all the ones prior, and I just wanted to say all eras have great artists, you just have to look for them! That’s all, have a great day!

Sorry Ray, and Tom is AWESOME, but Elvis is the Voice of the 20th century and it's b/c of his ability to be more nuanced as Presley maintained a falsetto that was close to as good as Orbison's, all through his life, and he could also be a power singer when the occasion called for it. While I will look for the video inasmuch as I heard Sir Tom, himself, talk about this and it showed what a classy man he was in paying tribute to his friend Elvis. And, it's an excellent musical analysis, as well, while Elvis had always paid Tom great respect, too!!! While God, why couldn't we have Elvis and Tom on, together, deciding to belt out a blues tune. I'd prefer that to Elvis and the Beatles anyday!

Tenderness, and power without shouting. The man sings! Today, there are performers, but not many true singers.

There’s a video of James Cordin and Sir Paul McCartney doing a road trip through Paul’s life. James began getting emotional, and Paul said to him, and I quote “ That’s the power of music.” Either you get that saying, or you don’t. Sir Tom Jones is that power. A truly phenomenal voice. I get it.

Tom does more than just belt out a powerful song.....he makes the lyrics come to life with his powerful, emotional, soulful voice. He sings through his whole body. He rattles my bones and has vibrated my heart since the 60's. Live long & keep entertaining us, Sir Tom....we all still love you. 💖

An amazing singer and wonderful man. The way he can name drop which makes your jaw drop. His impromptu singing on the Voice UK is outstanding and at 80 does a multiple dates tour. ❤️

I understand what you mean but you should know friends can be made through any circumstance, it doesn't matter where or how they meet if you will agree to this

My parents played this song so much everyone on our street knew this song word for word. Couples would make duets, so they could perform it on Fridays at our neighborhood bbq's. Tom Jones is a legend. His music was a big part of my life. Love him.

i fell in love with Tom Jones when I was 15 yrs old! An amazing voice.
