Well these tom and jerry is actually ancient pieces of animation. The reason they were so good was because they were made with theatrical releases. Big budget theatrical releases, Long before they entered television. By the time they entered television, everyone was doing it cheaper and were collecting awards as well. So the quality and the aesthetics of the animation went down as well.

Lots of American entertainment in the 20th century included blackface (insensitive, stereotypical mockery). Don't act like you're surprised at it, as if these cartoons were just made a month ago.

This is to truly an amazing show to watch. Watching this has made me appreciate Tom and Jerry more and the efforts the team put all along to make it come alive...thank you so much.

You can't have the sound effects without the visuals, they complement one another. It's very silly to say two of the kings of slapstick don't make the show loveable through their visual gags, even though slapstick is almost entirely based on that kind of thing, such as hurting oneself.

When I watched the start of 'The truce hurts' episode with my family where Butch, Tom and Jerry hit one another. The effects amazed me, and this is why I came here while searching for original sound-making processes if I can find any.

I too screamed out of joy at the end of the show along with the audience 🤣😂😂😅😂😂

They are the sons and daughters of the actual sound effects team.... It's nice to see that they received the applaud for their performance but why weren't the actual sound effects team credited for such a masterpiece?

This may not be 100% accurate to the original cartoon; ex. the water hose and trumpet and no screaming from Tom (finding someone to do the scream would've been difficult), but for improvising, it's *very well done!* 👍 👍.
