I'll die a "Wolverine" but "Spartans" will always have a special place in my heart. It's rare that I say this, but "Go Spartans". Well done Coach, well done.

WTF is Izzo doing in the HOF? ... MSU is a corrupt and dirty program ... Just for starters, read about how Izzo handled an incident involving one his inmates, Travis Walton ... Oh, excuse me ... did I say "MSU" ... I meant to say "MSP" - Michigan State Prison.

As MSU alum, I have watched him coaching Spartans over 16 years. He is the kind of coach that brings average talents and takes them to final 4. Not sure if even Coach K can do that...In my memory, the team early 2000s remains most underachieving. Alan Anderson, Chris Hill, Kelvin Torbert. The trio was so talented but couldn't quite get it together. I also have a fond memory watching Camelo Anthony coming to Breslin Center and beating MSU. He was so smooth that any one could tell he is special.

I'm a Villanova fan, and I always had respect for Tom Izzo. He's one of the all time greatest coaches, and we can all relish in rooting for the little guy and not being a UNC/Duke stuck up. Now that my Cats won one, as much as I'd like to win another, I'd like to see Tom and MSU get one.

+Don K Those teams were among my favorites also. I loved watching a bunch of kids with limited (but good) talent develop through brains and hard work to accomplish things they might not have anywhere else. In some ways, it was more fun that a championship.

+Superhero18 Thanks. 'Nova is also a great team not always recognized to the degree they should be. I will admit, if it is ever a choice between MSU and you guys, I am going for MSU - but I never mind seeing Villanova do well.

Best college basketball coach in the last 20 years in my opinion. 3 straight Final Fours from 1999-2001, another one in 2005, back to back in 2010-2011, and then again in 2015. He did it without the bucketloads of blue chip recruits guys like Coach K, Roy Williams and John Calipari get almost every year.

My nephew is a freshman in the MSU band, and when I was talking to my brother he to me that Matthew had made it into the Spartan Brass - the band that plays at basketball games. I told him that his son would soon meet Izzo, because he treats everyone from the janitor, to the band, to his best player as an integral part of the family, and he told me he already had. He took a few minutes to thank them all as a group, acknowledged the seniors (some by name!) and then asked all the new members to stand up and personally got their names and spoke to each of them. I spoke to my nephew and he said it was one of the great moments of his life. Izzo asked where he was from (Virginia) then asked how he wound up at MSU - his father and I grew up (mostly) in Michigan and went to MSU, and then thanked him for putting in the effort to be there to support the team. That is a class act.

I love the draymond shoutout. Draymond gets a rough deal. In the end, 99% of nba players would trade their career for his. And he's only 26. Crazy.

I didn't love it. That likely cost them a championship cause he got suspended for game 5. Warriors have a chance to be an all-time great team again but Draymond needs to help the Dubs get it done.

EyeLoveTheStars dude relax. draymond was not at fault on that play. he didn't do anything to deserve a flagrant. just a disgrace of a suspension. SERIOUSLY!! and the steven adams kick was a bad look but one couldn't prove that it was intentional and many nba analysts and players (e.g. shaq and karl towns) themselves said that it was flailing and unintentional. in the end, unfortunately, history will forget and only remember the cavs as champions but we warriors fans will never forget the injustice of the draymond suspension given by the crooks vandaway and adam silver. but at least we got kevin durant to stick it to them. not a bad consolation prize. hopefully revenge will be sweet come June 2017.

Omar Usmani Like I said, the only thing that will make up for last year is 1. The Warriors win at least 70 games. 2. Curry has a GREAT playoffs. He needs to make amends for these past two Finals performances. 3. The Warriors win the championship.

KZread is used world-wide. College basketball is not exactly global sports(yet). NBA is because the games are broadcasted pretty much everywhere. Outside US, I bet people wouldn't recognize Izzo, Caripari, Self, Calhoun, Boeheim, etc...Maybe except for Coach K because of Olympics.
