TOM HOPKINS Changed my life, when he taught me these words. "I must do the most productive thing possible at every given moment" He taught me this when I was in my 20's. I am almost 60yrs old now, and DAM! I am proud of my life's work. Hard Work pays with results. Thanks Tom...

Persuasion is amazing! No is never the end of the deal.
Tom is a great guy too. He is exactly the same in person as he is on stage. Thanks Patrick for letting us using this footage for his new documentary, Master Of Sales! We were all shocked when made it how many really successful people he helped train in his life.
Selling is a big part in everyone's life, some way or another. Tom's #1 secret to sales is reliability. You want to be trusted by your potential buyers, someone to relate to. Tom's #1 mistake in sales is being the stereotypical salesman, coming of too aggressive and pushy. Tom's edge over competition was out working them all, which got him to 365 house sales in just 1 year! Tom's message: everyone can become a good salesperson, and he believes he can teach anyone too.
What a humble guy. So true that successful sales come from good listening.
Reading this book now, a good one. I found rule of success No. 1 - Relatability is an absolutely great tip. Thanks Patrick for this interview.
So good. Thank you PBD for consistent and valuable content!

Tom is the king of sales! Thankyou so much for sharing, enjoying it!
Great salesman Tom Hopkins Thank you Patrick for this interview
this man is really a master! very easy to understand and simple advice that I know work when Consistent
Tom Hopkins sounds like the most trustworthy person in the world. I think that gives him a great head start. I love listening to him.
I haven’t read how to win friends and influence people since 2019, but a lot of the concepts he’s talking about are extremely similar just got the book on audible it’s going to be on repeat for the following months 🔁
Great points here, it is far more important to be interested than interesting.
He’s really great. I went to his Caesar’s palace seminar 1991 and kept the book ever since
one thing for sure that this guy seems 100% reliable in the way he talks , i think that helped him a lot in his sales
This man ..... made me a genius retired at 49 . Yes ... Things are unbelievable.
Hi Tom, I went to one of your very early seminars early 1980s and became a champion
Well Done! Great interview with a Legend! Congratulations!!!

When I was selling for my business, I had an 80% close rate when I met with potential clients. 80% of this was directly related to things I learned from reading Tom's Book.
@mikeryan5856
Жыл бұрын
an 80% close rate is actually too high of a close rate and is indicative of your prices being too low. you can raise your prices and have a 50% close rate and make more profit.

A couple legends telling us how it is. Wow, 365 houses in 1 year!? That is incredible! I know some people in realestate that should read Tom's books.

Amazing Patrick! I am reading Tom Hopkins book right now :-) :-) :-)

Pure value!
Tom is a legend, the interviewer has no idea who they are speaking to or the respect he deserves
Thank you
That seminar that you did was really incredible and I thought the music that you had. I think it was the eye of the tiger which was from Rocky. I don’t think it could’ve been better.
Hey Pat I have a question. I'm familiar with the Top 10 Books video, but I was hoping for a suggestion (based on what you've read in the past) on what's the best book(s) to read specifically for sales strategy/growth? Thanks
I like his style more than Grant Cardone. Thanks for posting sir.

A true master of sales and relationships.
Can you guys reupload most of the low sound videos by seperating the audio from video as mp3 with Realplayer then amplifying sound w/ programs like audacity. I'm on max volume and still using captions. No excuses for old video clips either.
Reup with normalized audio guys! The video is so good!
Good info... But FYI sound quality is down it's just the volume as loud as hard to listen to

Lesson: To grow in sales, follow these steps. Become Relatable. Don't be a stereotypical sales person. Outwork others! Find a job you love, and something that you're passionate about. Follow these lessons, and then try to go towards the opposite of your personality. This will help you become flexible when talking to people. Anybody can become a great sales man! Thanks Patrick!

--- Tom Hopkins #1 Secret & Mistake in Sales --- Key Takeaways 1. #1 secret in sales is Relatability: Develop a personality/temperament (work on yourself) and a way of coming across with people where they really like you, trust you , feel comfortable with you and want to listen to you. 2. #1 mistake in sales is Being Stereotypical: Instead of being aggressive, pushy and talkative, be a master questioner and a magnificent listener. 3. Be passionated/fanatical about your niche. 4. Everybody can learn about the art of selling. 5. On my To Read List: When Buyers Say No by Tom Hopkins

Patrick, I've come to the conclusion that some of the newer sales gurus are much more charismatic in their delivery (in comparison to Tom and Zig) because they've realized that consumers have much more shorter attention spans compared to 20 to 30 years ago... What's your take?

#1 Secret & Mistake in Videomaking: Mistake - thinking that audio is unimportant. Secret: Get some clip mics and an audiorecorder.
The number one secret why a salesman makes it in sales: They work harder on themselves, than they do on the job. In order to become a person that relates to more people.
@taoist32
7 жыл бұрын
Hava Nagila if you cannot relate to other people you have a closed mind and heart. Keep everything open, be honest, and be yourself. Energy and enthusiasm comes from being honest with yourself. If you really enjoy helping people, it shows.
how to sell 1.relationship (have a personality thats not cooprate like, also follow up)● 2.out work 3.passion(should be edge) ■be the opposite of what they expect in sales for customer■so they relax also dont come like the regular salesman be interested introvert or interesting extrovert
Summed up you sell yourself before the product.
Sales = Relationships Passion breeds obsession
