Selling is a big part in everyone's life, some way or another. Tom's #1 secret to sales is reliability. You want to be trusted by your potential buyers, someone to relate to. Tom's #1 mistake in sales is being the stereotypical salesman, coming of too aggressive and pushy. Tom's edge over competition was out working them all, which got him to 365 house sales in just 1 year! Tom's message: everyone can become a good salesperson, and he believes he can teach anyone too.

When I was selling for my business, I had an 80% close rate when I met with potential clients. 80% of this was directly related to things I learned from reading Tom's Book.

an 80% close rate is actually too high of a close rate and is indicative of your prices being too low. you can raise your prices and have a 50% close rate and make more profit.

Lesson: To grow in sales, follow these steps. Become Relatable. Don't be a stereotypical sales person. Outwork others! Find a job you love, and something that you're passionate about. Follow these lessons, and then try to go towards the opposite of your personality. This will help you become flexible when talking to people. Anybody can become a great sales man! Thanks Patrick!
