Holland was never goofy enough for me as Drake. My favorite moments of his were his ridiculously understated reactions. Like about to fall out of a plane "thats probably not good". Extremely corny, yes, but to me that was the main element of his charm. Also, not nearly enough "oh crap"

Because it’s Uncharted Not a Spider-Man Movie

I've been a huge fan of Tom ever since he became so popular, not only because of his role as Spider-Man or Nathan Drake in this movie or how youthful his face looks even though he's in his mid-20s, but also how hard he works, romance with Zendaya like Peter and MJ, his relationship with siblings namely: Sam, Harry and Paddy, and lastly is his talent of dancing 🎉 ! Now he's on hiatus following his role as an actor and executive producer on The Crowded Room, I'm very proud for him 🥲 I'm giving this movie 9/10 for every action and character, only need a loyalty to material source

He's a fine actor, great as Spider-man/Peter Parker. He just doesn't quite feel right as Nathan Drake. Way too ingenuous.

The only reason it seems a little realistic and practical, even though it’s obvious they did it with a green screen, is because the skydiving/falling sequence was all done as one sequence with no cuts at all, just as if he really did jump out a plane (and you can’t really cut with practical stunts)

yes, falling faster than a falling car, or a large box. Makes perfect sense. Not getting your arm ripped out of it's socket when holding onto the box with one arm when you're on the side of it and you release the parachute...absolutely.

And Tom Cruise can't say that he's played one of the most iconic comic book heroes for several movies. Who cares that Tom is mainly known for Spiderman, he's nailed the role. You can just about say the same thing for Tobey and Andrew as well. It's not like it's their fault that Spiderman is massive. If anything the combined 3 of their portrayals is part of why Spiderman is so massive because they've all been good at it.

Yeh it's kinda hard to do real life stunts for uncharted as you can't legally have a trail of cargo hanging out of a plane. You can't also have said actor at the end of that cargo climb his way up it because he would most likely due Tom cruise has a bunch of safety involved in his Stunts which would make the danger far less fatal

Tom Holland hasn't even actually jumped off a building let alone a helicopter, cliff, building, etc. They are not comparable actors at all. This comparison never should have been made with the title of this video.

I don't understand the negativity surrounding this movie. Everyone is like it's absolute shit. Despite that I watched it & I LOVED it. I haven't played the game so everything in the movie was new & unknown to me and I thought it was really cool. I absolutely loved Tom Holland in it. His character here is a perfect mix of saucy, cheeky & senti 💛

watching this movie is like failing every QTE possible
