I hear you bro, grew up in a similar scenario as you and opposite to tom’s but I just wanted to point out that it’s important to know that everything in this world has it’s blessings and curses. my parents never hid their struggles from me and my siblings. It was hard as a younging knowing that I couldn’t help them but today as a grow man i am able to help others with their struggles in any shape and form and I would like to think it’s because of the environment i grew up in. To clarify am not saying people who didn’t grow up in the same circumstances as me can’t also help people but i just feel like being in it for a long time truly makes you understand the necessity of helping eachother through thick times cause no one is making it far in this world on their own. Anyways sending love and guidance to everyone reading this, keep pushing.❤

Also, idk if it was me or not, but he came off kinda anxious a bit. Just moving around a bit and he couldn’t really just sit that still. @@aaroncousins4750 indeed it says a lot, during the time of the prophets war was happening here and there therefore lots of men were died in war, leaving a lot of woman being alone and not have a man to support them, this is why it was allowed for men during that time to marry up to 4 wives, which is still allowed today because it was allowed to our prophet we still do it today but not many because there is no war going on, next Woman should obey their husband which part of this is wrong actually? should a wife not obey their husband the head of family, if a woman was walking alone at new york at night what would be the reason she was scared of? obviously men! then that is were good men come to protect the woman, basically woman needs men to protect them why should a wife not obey their husband? woman should cover their hair this is also a way Allah SWT protects woman if your were to put a woman wearing a crop top and shorts in the middle of the street would men look at them in a weird way? would they think of evil, dirty things looking at the woman? imagine if this were your own sister? you would feel sick, so Allah SWT tells the woman to cover up head to toe to protect them from the lust of man, allah knows how men thinks because is the one created them , this is way allah protects woman, Say alot doesnt it?

seeing interviews (or rather conversations) like this really + truly reminds me of who is on the side of light in this world. it's also not so black and white, all or nothing, light or dark, but a conversation like this TRULY made me comprehend that it's a choice that we all make, and the action of doing so is relative to our life circumstances, our living situations, and yet it's a choice that we all intentionally make, perhaps over and over again, oftentimes the constant making of it is more a reminder to ground ourselves in what we truly value and know to be true than anything else.

tom is one of the very few people I could listen to talk for hours (and that’s saying a lot because I can’t concentrate for long) he just seems like the person you could talk to about the meaning of life at 3:00 AM. Idk if it’s his charismatic energy but it always draws me to his stories

I had to quit alcohol because of a medication I'm on. Hearing Tom talk about the struggles with quitting has been really powerful. I'm considering not drinking after I'm done with it because of this.

I truly admire you, Tom, for recognizing what the industry could do to you and putting yourself first. That's an insight most people don't reach, and for you to do that at such a young age is truly admirable
