That conversation piece: *"I knew I could make a film, I just went and did it."* that inspired me to start finally filming mine. Thank you Mr. Ford.

+ashura zoldyck no necessarily....most people can afford to fail. He said he had enough income to live on while he traveled. How many people can do that? Kinda like Donald Trump and his success story about his dad giving him a million dollar loan to start his business in like the 60's. that a heck of loan in that time. those bankruptcies didn't hurt him either smh.Money makes it easier to stay focused and not worry about the problems regular people commit suicide over. Its take ambition to be Tom but he had a huge safety net. Even if he failed....he would have not ended up at your local Mcdonalds. he would still be making 6 figures somewhere else regardless. Peace, love and joy my brethren. Let me go back to flipping these burgers :)

In case you’re wondering, yes, this was a paid interview. Tom Ford/his company paid CNBC for this advertising spot, which uses an interview format as a way of promoting Tom Ford’s products. It’s quite common, and is substantially more costly than a standard advertising spot, but it’s generally considered to be quite effective.
