I love this palette on you. These types of colours tend to change on me as well so it’s good to know they didn’t oxidise on you. I watched Mel’s video too and I think she has a different expectation with shadows as she likes to wear full on bold looks. Most of us 40+ prefer to wear shadow looks similar to yours therefore your reviews are very much appreciated by us mature ladies.

Thank you for the great review, Michele! Like you I didn’t experience any longevity issues with any of these shades. The shadows in the quad I purchased are pigmented and creamy. Love this quad and so glad I purchased it 💕

Heather Barber Yes! The quality of the new releases beginning with Fall 2019 have all Ben horrible quality for the $$! I returned all mine and went purchase anymore!!!!

I bought the Biba palette from ND on yours and MT’s recommendations and it arrives today! I can’t wait to use it. Quick question, have you tried the kebo brushes from Hakuhodu? The smallest ones remind me of the esum eyeshadow brush that love so much.

I agree that having drier eyelids does make a difference with eyeshadow adherence!!! I have drier eyelids and never have a problem the longevity of shadows(affordable/high end) and I only use concealer and and a powder to set the lids!! 💜

Happy 2020! No I’m passing on the CT. Feels repetitive.

I was super excited about these quads when I watched your reviews on Mink Mirage and then Noir Fume. I then watched Mel's review on all 5 quads and soon felt deflated. In terms of luxury beauty launches and products, I always wait to see what you ladies say before I pull the trigger. I came late to the TF party and bought Honeymoon during the Sephora Rouge promo last month. I am sad I missed out on Cocoa Mirage but I will still give these new additions a chance. I want Noir Fume, Mink Mirage and maybe De La Creme? Sous le Sable may be too light for my skin tone. At the end of the day, it's my dollar and my thoughts that matter the most.

Hi Michele, happy 2020 to you!🤩🤩 And thanks for all the good video's about the new TF eyeshadow quads!🤩👍 I bought Noir Fume and Mink Mirage almost 2 weeks ago at Selfridges, the rest is finished here for now at the moment in Europe, let's see if this collection will come to The Netherlands. Previous beautiful Soleil Neige collection not, which i still don't understand, and lots of Europeans have the same problem with the Soleil Neige collection i think, because i don't see it on other European websites. But the above mentioned quads i bought recently are very good quality👍 this evening i used the Mink Mirage and added a light shimmer shade from another quad i must say, but beautiful!😍 The other one i only swatched on my arm, also beautiful!😍 Thanks Michele for all the work you put in this (i don't like Tom Ford so much, sorry, only his make-up, we never hear from him, like for instance we hear a lot from very nice energy bomb Charlotte Tilbury, it seems that he is really not interested in his make-up, but that is just my opinion, maybe not true). Definitely so similar to CT pillow talk and variations. Did you know CT got another pillow talk item? They release new items too often.

I agree with your opinion on pillow talk quad. I find in general CT eyeshadows have oxidization and longevity issue, except a few quads that perform outstandingly well. I'm Asian. I find CT's pinks to transfer into a peachy/ orange/ pink brown kind of colour after about 2 hours. My yellow skin base probably worsen the situation so I was never a fan of her pink eyeshadows. TF and huda beauty are much more true to colour.

So I have watched all the videos of the TF quads and this quad does remind ne if CT Pillow Talk. I don't own any TF if CT quads as I find them a bit on the pricey side. While they all look nice on you, I feel like I can get similar looks from the products I currently own. Thank you, though for your demos.

Quick question for you. With your Selfridges subscription, about how long does shipping take, generally? Loving your demos and comparisons of these new quads!💜

About 3 business days. It’s better than most shipping within the US 😆 My only minor issue is DHL. They’re just not very reliable. Sometimes they’ll say one date and it’ll come the next day 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok. As I m really - really fed up with all pillow talk stuffs and the superlative release of magic Charlotte... I ll buy this one too... cause... I must admit these colors and trend are soooooo pretty 🤭 I love your different reviews and would love too see a round up For now I bought mink mirage and plan to buy this one and noir fumée... I m a TF lover... (my husband is ok 😁)

Julie Kerr haven,t tried that primer but i highly respect Mel and think that she knows what she is doing. Also, If that primer works for her with other TF shadows , why should it not with these then? Doesn’t make much sense.

Michele is 100% my most trusted youtubers and she’s never ever let me down and I have purchased a ton of products off of the back of her reviews. You took what I said and turned it into a negative I wasn’t being disrespectful at all to Mel.

Different people sometimes have different experiences with the same products. Which is why we have to sometimes check stuff out for ourselves and make our own conclusions. Thus far, I’m most looking forward to getting Noir Fume! I do appreciate different perspectives for sure. I like the color story of this quad but saw that hard pan right away when you held it up! WTH?!

Michele Nope, I wouldn’t be. When you pay almost $90 for an eyeshadow quad, you want it to be on point!! 🙄😳

I don’t think you need to do a ranking;y ou’ve done such thorough and thoughtful discussions. It would be enough for me, and even more helpful to have your thoughts after several months at the quarterly reviews. (You could rank them at that time) Although it’s all good.

I was about to purchase one of these today for my Christmas gift to myself but if Mel says they aren’t worth the price then I’m not getting it!

Pillow Talk was the first thing I thought of too. I'm going to check out the new TF quads first chance I get. Also, what is the brand and name of your nail polish? It's gorgeous.

Surprisingly enough I like all the new quads 😳 except the creme one, it’s too warm for me.

This quad has more contrast than CT’s Pillow Talk, so I like it much more

Jealous eyeshadow lasts on you. My eyelids are oily they eat up eyeshadow & most of the time colors get muddy looking. I totally get what you mean these pretty type mauvey colors turn orange peachy happens to me too. I’m looking for a palette with those type of colors that doesn’t do that. This palette looks nice on you & I like your blush it’s pretty.

I think that one was inspaired by pillow talk. So similar .

Hey Michele, I love makeup and I love watching your videos, but I've decided to go cruelty-free. I know Tom Ford is not cruelty-free and unfortunately neither is Sisley which I have loved and used for years. I know in my heart it's time for a change.

I have hazel-y brown eyes and NC42 complexion and hate such peachy, coppery tones on my eyes. I’m getting rid of my Pillow Talk quad that I wish I never bought, returned Chanel’s Warm Memories quad, and definitely not getting this quad by Tom Ford, even though it looks beautiful. I just hate the way peachy tones look on me.
