I recently started watching Smallville and I can't stop seeing Tom as Clark Kent..

He could so play a grown up superman, he looks great for the part

The show is "satirical", there are lots of laughs. But it's also a surprisingly deep, fascinating exploration of humanity. I get the reaction Tom Ellis eluded to when I tell friends/family I'm watching "Lucifer." But it is not what they think, it is a surprise, and it's so brilliant and beautiful. Love it, and love these two talented me.

I could watch these too together forever. They are both gorgeous and entertaining in their own ways. Their shared scenes in Lucifer S3 were always magnetic.

Kind of impressed with Tom Ellis. Most folks can't just blurt "... ornithological joke," out without some preparation.

Glad they brought tom back to the big screen after finishing smallville which he was great it's a bit far gone but still great that he is back

The devil and superman gotta love it lol Tom welling has always been one of my favorite actors and growing up watching Smallville and now watching lucifer and it is one of the best shows out right now I hope this goes for a very long time. Tom Welling is great playing for Smalville and also Cain.

That is too funny going through custom and the agent goes " you are Lucifer the devil", I can just see everyone one the line picking up their crosses. It's been a long time I haven't got hooked on a show like this.

I already loved this show and was so excited when I heard Tom welling was going to be on it ! I’ve been rewatching Smallville for like the 5th time and just glad he’s back doing stuff ! (I know he’s done some movies since) also, he’s still hot

I wish Tom Welling could play Shazam, he would be perfect, he sure has the experience of playing a superhero

I am excited to see Tom back on screen! At first I didn't know what to think of this show because of the title, but as I did my research and found out it was from a comic I realized this is for entertainment only and should not be taken seriously. I am a strong christian, and study my bible daily so I know the truth of who Lucifer is. I guess there are those who will be offended by the subject matter, but that's their choice. As for me, I'm excited to watch .. mainly because I am a fan of Tom. Congrats Tom!!

He said he was offered multiple times to join it when he was on Michael Rosenbaum's (Smallville's Lex Luther) podcast, Inside of you with Michael Rosenbaum (you can find it on KZread). And he just didkt want to be some stunt casting thing. Michael Rosenbaum said the same thing on why e didn't join the Arrowverse.

What he said about people calling him Lucifer reminds me of an interview that Paul Johansson from One Tree Hill did, where he said an old lady came up to him and started harassing him for the terrible thing he did to his brother, outside of the show. Some people are gullible, I guess.

Tom welling was nice in 20s now he is still cool and hot looks much better

Two hots men, but Tom Ellis is very articulate and so funny.

The show isn’t anything like the Lucifer Morningstar comic. The character doesn’t resonate the Lucifer comic character either. The tvshow Lucifer is it’s own version that is much weaker too but I have enjoyed the show. It’s important to be able to separate the two. The show isn’t an adaption just a different take on it.

Judyp77 - Oh no one is disputing that he is a good looking guy. But when he worked on Smallville he cared about health and fitness. Even when he did Draft Day back in 2014, he was still in good shape. The onset of a double chin has come recently and isn't a factor of "growing up". LOL He has just gotten lazy.

on smallville he was playing Superman/Clark Kent, so obviously he wouldve had to work out every day to keep fit. he's earned a break from having to work out every day i think. Also as you age your metabolism slows so thats also a factor

They Should introduce Tom Ellis Lucifer and Jhon constantine to DCEU

Amazing how many people do are not liking Tom Welling here. But I guess that just proves that you fall in love a a character not there actor. In Smallville his character was lovable, in Lucifer the character is not loveable. And for the saying he is fat, the answer is no, he is bigger because he has developed as he got older, probably due to personal training routines. Does he seem likeable? Yes. Does he seem humble? Yes. As for Tom Ellis, his character on Lucifer is 100% likeable and as a person as well. But you can never tell because remember that even in interviews like these they'll are acting and presenting the image that they want then audience to see. I just hope that they are as nice as they present themselves.

Both Toms Looks great. Tom Wellings is not Clark until he wears red Plaid and Tom Ellis isn’t Lucifer if he’s not wearing a 3piece suit.
