This used to true. Up til this GTO stuff came along the idea was to play within your bankroll and get experience. That's all it took. Now the game has been cracked enough that you can't make it without considerable study.

My best advice is to always play stakes that are very low relative to your bankroll. When losing one buy in isn’t a big deal, you can play more freely and with less fear of busting

Was he talking about Gabe Kaplan or that Pro from Kentucky who is best buddies with Peter Jetton who was part of the Peter Jetton led trio that did one of the first podcasts in pokers, Gabe and the third member of the trio went to i think it was China and binked a tourney there. What was the name of their Podcast, lemme think, it ended about 6 years ago....something with the word Bone and/or soup in the title, perhaps CHAT will help me here.....please chat. Eureka, remembered it as i bit into my chicken and lettuce sarnie....Root-Bone Radio was its name.

I'll tell you my secret for free. 😂 If you want to be come good in poker learn the fundamentals and since you know that. Defeat your opponent who follows it. And you will be ahead of them. Next try to be patient don't play big pots always wait till you make a nuts and then push all in if they fold it's okay if they don't then you will get a profit a big one.. Next be neutral when all the time because your opponents may be steaming or aggressive so you can outplay them by being neutral and observe their play and trap them. Next don't put to much hope for premium cards you can win a pot without a premium hand. Most pros always Cbet till they get they hit their card in the table. So make them bleed by raising most of the time. Let them buy their money card. In that way you will have an advantage on Cbet to them. And last it's my secret if you want to learn more it will cause a bucks of course hahaha
