F yeah ! I love Tom Cruise as a performer in non blockbuster movies, he's so talented

I would love this. Cruise isn’t just an all time great movie star and an amazing entertainer, but he’s also a phenomenal actor. From Jerry Maguire to Collateral to Interview with the Vampire, he has a lot of acting talent that isn’t really acknowledged these days because he currently stars in movies where he flys aviation vehicles and does all of his own stunts. If this happens, I sure hope this could be the revitalization of Cruise’s dramatic career. Also, I love Tarentino, and so that would also be great to see.

@@FilmnerdTV I don’t think I would say he was snubbed because Michael Clarke Duncan in The Green Mile and especially Haley Joel Osment in The Sixth Sense were also fantastic, but Cruise still gives a great performance in Magnolia.

I agree, Tom Cruise is criminally underrated as an actor and people forget or were not around when Tom Cruise was doing great dramatic movies like A Few Good Men or Rain Man. I've always wanted to see Cruise in a QT movie.

Why the hell do people claim he’s an underrated actor? He’s not just famous for being in Scientology or handsome, he’s not an underrated actor Keith David or Nathan Fillion! He has so much range and talent when he’s not hanging off the side of a plane or driving off cliffs.

Tom Cruise is not Underrated. He is widely known since he's early career with actors like Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves, Charlie Sheen, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt etc.

I’m already hyped for Tarantino’s next movie! Then you get Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt? If they are a duo, I wanna see that badly, and it would only raise my excitement for this film! I hope Tarantino pulls a Miyazaki and continuously postpones his retirement 😂

Tarantino must be using some sort of method other directors aren’t using. Every actor who’s been in Tarantino’s films are literally at their best in Tarantino’s films than any other film. Samuel L Jackson, Brad Pitt, Leo DiCaprio, John Travolta, I don’t know what Tarantino’s been doing, but everyone is at their peak and BEST in his movies. I can’t tell you a better and cooler Samuel L Jackson performance than in Django Unchained

What we really need is for Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt to bury the hatchet and make a fun movie together. Stop being rivals. Be friends. The Movie Critic might be the first time we’ll see Pitt next to Cruise since Interview with the Vampire which Brad was not happy working with Tom. I read that Tom was supposed to be cast in Once Upon A Time… in Hollywood. He and Brad went through the reading together. But Tom had a schedule conflict as he had on a lot on his plate at the time (did Mi6: Fallout released in 2018 and Top Gun 2 was supposed to be released in 2019-2020). Brad is supposed to star in Tarantino’s 10th and final film. Comes around in full circle as he was supposed to star in True Romance, Quentin’s first script, but Brad didn’t really understand the script at the time. He still appeared in it as Floyd. Then he did Basterds and OUATIH and won his first Oscar for the latter. I believe Tom will have a very minor role probably similar to Al Pacino in OUATIH. But knowing Tarantino, even the smallest roles can be memorable if you’ve seen True Romance with performances from Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, James Gandalfini, Val Kilmer, and Brad Pitt. I just want to see Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt together and having fun together in a movie. It’s about time to squash their beef for 30 years and be buddies. They don’t seem like bad guys.

That ties back into my argument for why this is a good idea. Tom Cruise likes control of his big blockbusters, and he's drifted away from just being an actor working with great directors whom he can't control. That's exactly why this would be a very good career move for him.
