I see the flaws but it’s the most fun I’ve had with The Boys by far. Mainly down to the Soldier Boy, Butcher, Hughie trio. The Chemistry rocks.

You’re not alone Sean, I didn’t even watch this season until just a couple months ago, but thankfully I caught up. I was even able to watch Gen V (highly recommend it!) Can’t wait to see your review of Season 4!!!!

I really enjoyed this season. It was probably my favorite of the show, especially given what it built to in E6. E6 is one of my favorite episodes of all time. However, the last two episodes kind of fizzled out a bit for me.

It was the best season of the show. Hopefully season 4 is even better

I watched all 3 seasons of this show last year as well as Gen V and I absolutely love it. In the running for my favorite TV show, with season 3 probably being the best of the bunch. Cannot wait to watch the first few episodes of season 4 tomorrow!

Regarding the Herogasm episode, I thought the point of building up the vulgerness and crossing the line advertising leading up to the event was the point to give us that massive swerve and instead deliver a fight we'd been waiting on yet had no idea was coming

I really like The Boys and this season was my most favorite.

On the subject of superheroes Sean, I know Chloe has an interest in My Hero Academia. Is she aware there are movies of the anime? If so, is she looking forward to Movie 4 which we’re getting later this year?

I have such a love for this show but this season especially. This was one of the first real tv shows I ever watched and this season was like the greatest thing I’ve ever watched. I watched this before I watched Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Mr Robot, Sopranos, etc and yes those shows are better but I’ll always have a love for this season because of that

I'm not as big on this show as most people but season 3 was enough to make me excited for season 4 especially since I decided to drop the show if I didn't like season 3

This is one of my favorite seasons of Television especially Season 3 Episode 6 is one of the best episodes of all time.

Tbh, The Boys has a great plot, it really doesn’t need all the extra over the top stuff it has in it. Just my opinion, I get that's why some love this show. Me personally, not a fan of it, but I keep watching it... so lol. 😂

There’s definitely some plot overlap. I’m sure they’ll explain important details but the s4 trailer referenced some gen v stuff

Season 3 really lost me, personally. My biggest issue was the storyline wherein Hughie takes Temp V. For the first two seasons, he never had a problem with Starlight being the person who always saves him whenever the situation arose; it felt unnatural for him to suddenly be upset and jealous of her powers/strength when he hadn’t been for the prior two seasons. That drama didn’t feel like it fit Hughie’s character and his relationship with Annie

Damn, was looking for smth Boys to stick on during my workout, but I still need to catch up on season 3 over tonight/tomorrow. I’ll be back for this after I catch the premiere, love your videos Sean!

If that final episode was better it probably would have been my favorite season of the show, but as it stands it's still season 1

Ngl I didn't like how gory and edgy it is but as you I watched it I got used to it and started using the c word butcher likes.

@SeanChandlerPlus I do really enjoy the boys and I actually do like Homelander as a character in a weird way, yeah he’s the bad guy of the show and yeah he can be a complete douchebag at times but, there’s something endearing about the character none the less, not sure what that says about me but, there’s something going on with that character that’s endearing although he does horrible horrible things and I acknowledge that. Maybe I just feel that in the current landscape of just pure superhero entertainment we have had over the last decade, I feel the best villain to me hasn’t come from Marvel or DC the big two companies it’s come from indie comic source material being translated to an Amazon series with The Boys. I think I’m so interested in Homelander personally because, I want to just see what crazy insane thing the character is going to do next, but yeah, he’s easily the most interesting character on The Boys for me despite being the villain, this just goes to show, that you can have someone who is the villain of a show still be interesting if there is strong writing there and I definitely think there is with The Boys all around.

MF SOLDIER BOY!!!! Herogasm was disgusting but amazing at the same time lol

I’m gonna be honest. I’m not the biggest fan of The Boys, but I do still find some entertainment with the show, enough to keep me coming back. This season was pretty solid and does have me interested in Season 4.

Honestly, I didn't really enjoy this season that much. I just don't like the Temp V storyline at all. It feels like it goes against everything that Butcher and Hughie are. I can't buy into that and it's not fun to watch at all. The plotlines in this season make it really difficult to watch because everyone is so outrageously unlikable. That said, everything with Homelander is really compelling and well written and I do enjoy Black Noir a good bit.

The charm and appeal of The Boys for me was based on the fact that these underdogs without powers were strategizing to kill the Supes in creative ways. Season 3 ruined the show for me. I felt it ruined it’s whole premise by giving everyone super powers. Very disappointed in the turn it took.

Season 3 is my favorite season and it is mostly because of soldier boy stealing every scene

I can watch most shows or movies even I don't agree with their politics, The West Wing is one of my favorite shows, but I gave up on The Boys in season 3, it just got too heavy handed and obnoxious for my liking. Putting that aside, I also thought the writing and humor in general lost what the first season had.

Season 3?

My opinion of this show has gone downhill each season sadly. Man did i love season 1…but then the show-runner kept inserting his real world politics into the show which became jarring.

@SeanChandlerPlus I guess that’s why Homelander is such an interesting antagonist to me is that he’s genuinely scary, and I want him to be taken down and there’s actual stakes here because, we know that Homelander isn’t only crazy but, he’s got the powers of Superman and he isn’t afraid to use them right in front of his followers and they won’t bat an eye, in fact they will cheer for him and be totally okay with him brutally murdering a starlight supporter right in front of them with his eye lasers as we saw at the end of the season finale with no repercussions as of yet, I have a feeling this season he will face more repercussions for the end of season 3 but, being Homelander he will just kill whoever tries to get the news out about what he did in the finale of last season and continue to go crazier and crazier until he just decides, “hey I’m a god, I can just take over the entire USA and nobody not even the military can stop me.” Which, if that happens it will be scary because, they didn’t just write in “hey, he’s crazy let’s just make him take over the entire USA or even the world just because he’s crazy.” Which we have seen in a lot of other superhero content with villains of the past but, no this is a deeply flawed villain and that’s what makes this character so scary.

Weakest season in my opinion but still a good time

Season 3 was so good that I don’t know if they can top it, and from the sounds of it season 4 doesnt
