    @Colonel Gibbs It's silly to try and compare Brady to MJ in that context- football players only have to play one side of the ball, which is a significant advantage for them, and QB's are more protected now than ever. Playing in your 40s in any professional sport isn't easy, but playing QB in your 40s in the modern day NFL is much easier than starting in the NBA in your 40s.

  • @myco9253

    @myco9253

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@joshuamiller1132 I see it the other way around. Because you get to play both sides of the ball basketball players have a far bigger role in effecting whether they win or lose. This means of you are the best nba player you pretty much always have a chance to effect the course of the game. Brady has won 7 rings in a salarycap era, with what was it, 500 different team mates? His leadership and play gets everyone around him to play better. MJ was just too good and when you gave him a servicable supporting cast he won by purely outplaying his opposition. Brady can't do that. He has to not only play better than the rest, he gave money and he his without a doubt the greatest leader and locker room presence in history.

  • @charlessmith2176

    nguont well, there was a time when products were made in America by Americans and that actually meant something. Our politicians and corporations sold out the American people by shipping jobs overseas to increase their bottom line and in turn left many Americans jobless with others struggling to work. "Making America Great Again" refers to the times where a man could support his family working in a factory and make a way for his self with hard work. I think it's ridiculous that some guy in China can take an iPhone apart and put it back together while most Americans can't even replace the screen themselves. Every country has an ugly past, and I don't believe that phrase is meant to bring those dark times back. But there are those people that try to see the negative in anything.

    Is there something in a professional athletes contract that says they have to take stands on social issues? Athletes shouldn't be criticized for not taking a stand. As long as they're showing up for work and staying out of trouble we shouldn't care what they do with their personal lifes. It's actually really selfish for these dudes to try and say how Michelle Jordan and Tom Brady should live their life's. If they just wanna play their sport and go home to their family, they are 100% in their right to do so. They're not "dropping the ball"

It's about human beings being racially profiled, assaulted,killed, and human rights being violated...because of their skin being darker. White males in this country don't have to worry about this happening to you,so, most of you don't give a damn! What Shannon was saying in this particular piece was someone of Tom Brady's stature could help make a difference on this issue . Brady, nor Jordan, care to, because they don't t want to upset the racist that buy the products they endorse...therefore, it affects their dollars.

Whatever cause he does or doesn't want to support, or personal position he does or doesn't want to disclose to the public, is his prerogative. And that's whether it's to due w/ race relations, abortion, his fiscal preferences, the environment, or anything else. People muddle into other peoples' businesses at an all-time high rate cause respect is not taught the way it used to be. What's interesting is Rob Parker & Shannon Sharpe are of an older generation at 54 & 49 years respectively, so you'd think they'd set better examples of consideration to younger viewers?
