Tom Brady is a player that I have always admired. He is the poster child of what it is to be a great selfless teammate. He always structured his contract so that the team could spend money on players around him. Patrick Mahomes is that guy as well. Yes his contract is huge but he is not the highest paid player and even though he deserves to be he knows that he doesn't need that. He makes tons of money elsewhere and he is fine with what he has. Not how it works. There is one player who is the greatest of ALL TIME, that's where the name comes from. There's objective analysis for these kinds of things. I hated Brady for about half of his career, but at his 5th or 6th Championship you simply give it up for the guy, he is the GOAT. Mahomes could threaten that depending on what he does, and I actually have really liked Mahomes from day 1 (even though it sucks to see him in a Chiefs jersey) but he's yet to even be close to Brady on so many things that there is objectively no debate, at least not yet. And for there to be a debate there is A LOT of catching up to do. Favorite players don't equate to GOAT, that's a pretty mediocre mindset.

Only time will tell of he unseats Tom. IMHO, he will for most of Toms records, not all. And it will no longer be no debate. Mahomes will get close enough, for there to be legitimate debates. But I really don't see Mahomes getting 7 rings. I think in 2-3 years, once Kelce and a few other key players are gone, there will be an inevitable dry spell. And Reid will retire long before Patrick. I saw that Superbowl run in Tampa. I saw Tom Brady go back to back. I saw him throw 50 TD's in a season. I saw him winning 2 superbowls and an MVP in his 40's. @@Fitkid7672arron has had like 2 opportunities. Most of his playoffs losses come from his team being out-matched and making tons of mistakes. He has to try to play a perfect game to keep them in it. That's not something you do in the playoffs. There are tons of games I could bring up but I will bring up the one against Brady. In that game his team dropped a TD a 2 point conversion. Aaron the running back for some stupid reason decided to go into the middle of the field and get tackled with a low clock and keep it running instead of running In the sideline and going out of bounds and stopping the clock before the half. That made the team have the inability to use all their downs for a TD and had to kick a Field goal after one play. Then Aaron fumbles the ball at like the 30 right at the Start of the second half and Tampa take it to the 10. I almost forgot about that horrible DB that cost greenbay the TD before the half. 2 huge penalties and another 50 yard play. Also don't forget the specials team giving Tampa short field. Aaron had everything going against him. Could have arron played better. Of course, you can always play better in a loss. My point is Aaron had way more things going against him because his team around him kept making mistakes. Tom's team committed like one big mistake that game. That's how most Greenbay losses happened. The one game I still think Aaron deserves blame for even though he was injured and the team choked was in that Seattle game. That probably the only game where the other team and QB make more mistakes and Aaron still managed to lose it. Considering what happened in the last minutes of the game it's not his fault entirely but if Aaron took advantage of all the opportunities the team should have been up by like 20 at least.

@@FatboyReg Lol. Eli again when Brady's head-to-head record against Mahomes is mentioned. What a stupid point. Is Eli in the running to be the GOAT? Just because he beat Brady in 2 SBs? So brady is the standard for Eli to be the GOAT? get out of your fat a5S fat boy, you sound sooooo stupid.

Tom went 3 for 3 in superbowls and 9-0 postseason in 4 years. To start. He then went to the afc championship game 8 years in a row and 3 superbowls in a row 2016,2017,2018. He also went to 4 superbowls in 5 years 16, 17, 18, 20. He was also aged 39,40,41,43 those last 4 appearances and won SB mvp 3 times lol. I would love to see mahomes play that long and still be that great. Tom did this while having a decent arm, no legs, no scrambling ability. Far more impressive. Mahomes is a ln athletic machine, brady breaks all the rules.

@@joencrypto8133 Kelce is definitely a better receiver than Gronk, and I'd be surprised if he didn't pass all his stats, but Gronk was just a phenomenal all-around TE and didn't have a weak area outside his knees which was the only way to bring him down. Gronk was like having an extra tackle on the line on top of being a runaway train downfield. Even late in Gronk's career as he slowed down, he was able to still be a very competent blocker which is what you hope of TEs as they get older. Kelce though is a notoriously bad blocker and is pretty much just a big slot receiver, which he's extremely good at. Kelce will absolutely blow past all of Gronk's stats at this rate and maybe even Super Bowls, especially ones he's played in, but he won't surpass Gronk as the GOAT TE.
