Pats need to jump at bringing him back. His experience is invaluable to the next guy up. Brady saw Flacco play and he knows he is way better and can totally destroy NFL teams. Brady would only come back to the Patriots if they drafted somebody like Marvin Harrison and stacked the offense. Playing on a 6-11 team wouldn't be fun.

Phil is correct. If Brady came back it would be WR, OT and offensive weapons in the draft. Maybe a QB but not until 6th or 7th round as a project. The PAT'S would finish around .500 and then you won't be able to draft a QB and would need to find a veteran to play after Tom retires again. Not saying this would be bad but screams of Kraft wanting to prove Bill wrong and sell tickets.

If Brady came back you couldn't draft a QB with the #3 pick. When he left New England in 2020..it was over! No matter whose fault... it was over. He went to a loaded Tampa team that added Brady, Gronk, Antonio Brown, Leonard Fournette, Tristan Wirfs and Antoine Winfield Jr. The Pats were on a downward slide that included Tommy. I think if we add a top x receiver and a top slot guy along with Brady and this defense we would be a playoff team. It would hurt our development in the long run if we miss out on one of these top QBS. Would he only play 1 year or multiple years? Is he having cold feet about being a broadcaster? It's an interesting conversation but any publicity is good publicity...right?

Why would Brady do that? If he does come back sometime next season, he will play for the 9ers. The Pats need him. Brady does not need the Pats. And these talking heads are only hedging like a scorned girlfriend. They know if Brady comes back, the Pats will be the last time on his list. I myself want to see Brady back for the playoff only. While he is doing his broadcasting gig, he is secret in talk with the 9ers and working out for them. He gets their playbooks and study plays and practice and watch film and talk wiht Kyle. Then when the playoff comes around and he can sign a one game contract with the 49ers and play in the Superbowl because Fox does not call next year's Superbowl. One thing is certain, had Brady decided to come back last season and play in the Superbowl for the 49ers, they won. Purdy left way too many plays on the table. Much of the loss was put on the DC and Kyle's dumbass playcallings, but Purdy left too many plays on the field.

Come back Tom! We didn’t need help on the defensive side. Our offense consistently put our defense in the hole (pick 6, to’s). Our defense was on the field most of the game. How many games did we lose by a few points? With a better offense we’re probably in the playoffs.
