Ive come to find that a small duffel like this pairs well with medium size travel bag (eg Evergoods CTB26) are a really good combo for weekend / long weekend trips. It's nice to not have to squeeze everything into one single huge bag. This duffel seems like a good option for that stretegy, love Tom Bihn

Very few reviewers ever notice that if your overhead carryon is a backpack, heaven help you if your personal item is a daypack - even if the overhead is 40L abd your daypack 13L. Agents want to see a messenger bag or something like the Bihn, and usually object to 20L underseat or even more. Trick: if underseat must be a daypack for local use, carry it on in a simple grocery sack or tote (Red Oxx Market Tote or Bihn totes work well.)

You could use differently coloured Paracord for different zips to help you compartmentalize better. "Ah, my lip balm is on the yellow side!"

This needs a laptop sleeve (and perhaps a dedicated water bottle slot) to be brought into the modern age.

Is this bag older version returning? Or new bag. Checked Bihn website no availability and no colors?

How big is it? Capacity and dimensions? A personal item or carry-on sized? Looks like it would be good for gym bag. One thing I really like is the bright interiors so you can see and find things.

I really like using a duffel bag, but as I’ve gotten older I find myself using a backpack for convenience.

It's 20l, $250. I agree with you about it's usefulness, this is an older bag that they recently brought out of retirement, and it's definitely a product of it's time. I feel like there are better (more streamlined) options now and using this plus an aeronaut or travel backpack, might be a bit much. It also needs to be about $100 cheaper.

Yeah I cant believe the 250 mark loool thats crazy steep considering the alternative out there. But i guess, with Tom Bihn being a good name, people will buy regardless. Quality should always be good
