Why he didn't win is a mystery to me but I'm sure he will go on to do better things.

The biggest vocal talent from UK since Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck and the super fans didn’t think he deserved to be in the top five. They wouldn’t know talent if it punched them on the nose.

It seemed to be a contrived way of voting, you only have to look at the KZread ratings to see Tom Ball had the most votes but I'm sure he will go on to be a super star anyway.

I was so upset he didn't win and then realized that the super fans who voted most likely knew he'd do better without all the contracts and stipulations the winner has to deal with.

On the contrary, no one knows who the super fans are, how many there are - whether there’s one or 20 - we don’t know. And since no singers were in the top five, no dancers dancers or ventriloquists were even in the top five , it’s apparent that no category that ever won before was even considered by them. It’s not a mystery - it’s a travesty. Aiden did well but who would sit through a show of two hours, watching somebody swing up and down and down and up? Aiden would have to be in a troupe like Cirque du Soleil, or have other backup things for anyone to have to see a show with this young man. Besides, he’d be tired out - he couldn’t perform a two hour show. So this is to me a result just to show diversity. It’s not based on talent or how the person would be able to perform in an entertainment setting night after night. Super fans - show monitors, not talent savvy

@@OperaJH Very astute reasoning. Though I believe Mr. Ball was the obvious winner, I can't see him in some glitzy Vegas lounge. I picture him touring, performing at classy concert halls and/or doing film soundtracks and the like. And of course, recording numerous albums, CDs, etc.

@@vernettegoats3899 very true. However, Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck and even the brilliant Anthony Newly were top attractions in Vegas in multi-million dollar contracts. They still toured snd performed elsewhere, but for a couple of months or more each year, they drew tons of fans. Vegas would have made Tom Ball a household name. So it’s not exactly what you might think it is. However, your reasoning for his career is absolutely a wonderful way to go. Right now I can’t imagine why he hasn’t gotten a recording contract, which would then present him with tours and concerts. Maybe he has. He really deserves to be as well known as both Tom Jones and Engelbert. He’s every bit as talented as them, if not more!

@@OperaJH Guess you put me in my place, and I stand corrected. Don't get me wrong - I like visiting Vegas, and it's close to my location (I could attend a performance or two.) What I was more concerned with was the restricting contract he would have had to sign. Its stringent rules (so I've heard, but not fact-checked) would have precluded him from pursuing other venues. Thanks for your insights and setting me straight.

@@vernettegoats3899 not at all! All I was saying is that world class acts do perform there, but also that I agree with you. Vegas IS glitzy, but since people from all over the world go there, it probably wouldn’t be a bad thing for him! 😄 I would love to see Tom Ball going on a concert tour, like IL Volo. He deserves all the good exposure he can get. I’d buy his album tomorrow if there were one. Such a talent - I keep playing all his performances because I want to hear him sing. 🤩 I hope he gets a recording contract very soon!
