@@crocop4life but the point is tom holds the world record in ufc for fastest fight time average. So no one Jon has ever fought is like Tom. Also 100% take down and 100% take down defense. So to say everyone can beat Tom who Jones has fought is a joke and you know it. Jones fought pumped up middle weights and the people his size "Gustaffson and Reyes" both hit him around. Jones got hit 100 times in those fights. Tom knocks you out if he touches you and hes proven that time and time again. There is a reason we have weight classes.

Anyone can win a fight on any given day, i think tom has a punchers chance as jones has more option. But we may never see this fight anyway. If you really watch mma, you jones is the fav to win. People forget that Blaydes technically knocked out Tom due to a checked kick. Tom is so focused on Jones that he's forgetting he has a killer in front of him. Thiago Santos went 5 rounds with Jones with a fully torn ACL, MCL, and PCL. Interesting how Tom sort of just quit with much lesser injuries. I think Tom is good when he's leading the dance but I question his mental fortitude if/when he has to dig deep.

He has 1st,1st,1st,1st,4th,4th rankings for 6 top ten tables for all fighters over the last 30 years. Gsp, Oliveira and miller are 2nd = with three firsts each. Tom is first for strike differential at 4.95. For every strike he lands he receives fewer back than anyone else in mma history. Tom is 1st for shortest avg fight time at 2:10. He gets people out faster than any other fighter in last 30 yrs. Tom is 1st for least bottom position time at 0.1 min. The threshold to be ranked is 5 fights. Tom has had 8 fights in the ufc. Someone with 5 or 6 fights should be first. Tom has least bottom position % in the ufc. Jon jones is 2nd. So you have the fastest finisher who gets hit the least with amazing takedown defence. Tom has some of the fastest strikes. He is 4th for sig strikes minute of 4050 fighters. Tom has 4th most knockdowns per minute out of 4050 fighters. However you will see that Tom doesn’t appear in the important sig strike accuracy. From current roster we have pereira 63% 4th, O’Malley 62% 5th and Gane 61% 9th. The reason Tom doesn’t appear is his striking is so devastating he uses an average of 17 per fight to win by finish usually in the first round. This would be another record with 134 strikes in his 8 ufc fights. The threshold for appearing in sig strike accuracy tables is 350 rather than number of fights. Tom has 68% accuracy and so would be second of all time. As you point out tom has 100% takedown defence and 100% takedown accuracy so would be 1st in 2 more all time tables if he met the 20 takedown threshold.
