I am not certain that Aspinall is going to win on Saturday. What I am certain of is that he is a decent bloke, and if he does end up winning, I will celebrate like England won the World Cup.

I think he's better. The question for me is: Can he manage to circumvent Pavlovich's power, reach and shot selection on short notice? Too many sleep on Aspinall though. His own power is way too underrated. He literally has the shortest average fight time in UFC history along with Pavlovich.

When you compare the opponents that Aspinall beat vs the opponents that Pavlovich beat and the way he beat them, in some ways its not a surprise that Pavlovich is the favourite to win this one coming Saturday but with that being said in terms of the overall ability Aspinall is the more all around fighter and usually most of the times the more all around fighter wins, now about Pavlovich they say he's a all around fighter too because of his sambo and greco roman wrestling style of fight but I have yet to see it which is obviously not his fault because he's finishing opponents quickly with his hands before someone even attempts to grapple him and he hasn't fought against too much elite grapplers either except for Blaydes even though he didn't really try to grapple much vs Pavlovich. Overall I got Aspinall but in order for him to prevail he has turn into a actual wresler I personally feel or at least give him something to think about when it comes to the wrestling game so that open things upstairs in the standup.

@@Renzie97 It's a joke… these reporters are all being paid what? They go to every event. And they ask the SAME questions… not only the same questions as every other reporter, but they seriously cannot come up with ANYTHING else after all of these years? They can't make any effort? It's really a shame because week after week they have the opportunity to interact with these athletes and this is what we get. If I were their superiors, I'd be looking for people who are going to seek substance, be insightful. It's such an open, tremendous opportunity being squandered. And this is why I have tossed around the idea of pursuing something on my own. This is not my area of expertise. However, I know that I would be prepared with meaningful questions.

Exactly. I got extremely angry as soon as this video started, hearing the first reporter asking for a detailed breakdown of Tom's strategy against Sergei. Seriously? Asking a man to reveal his game plan? Then he asks him "What does it mean to be fighting in Madison Square Garden?" Is that even a real question? That media person should have his media credentials revoked. Thankfully Tom called him out and said that his questions were shit! Right at the beginning at 2:00.

Asking about his cardio? Seriously? So that's basically asking the fighter to reveal personal secrets about their strategy. The UFC needs to have a talk with these reporters, and explain to them which questions are off limits. 1.) No questions about game plan or strategy. 2.) No questions about cardio and injuries. 3.) No questions that start with "What does it mean to be...." @@Renzie97

If it goes to the ground it'll be from a punch, but I think Tom will win by tko, And when this fight was first announced I thought sergei would win but idk I'm starting to think its gonna be tom by tko probably late 2nd or early 3rd round

Can somebody explain why Aspinal is fighting for the interim belt? Cause I thought Jon Jones only wants to fight Miocic so if hes recovered he is gonna fight Miocic or is this fight cancelled? Cause that means jones retires after beating miocic and so the interim belt is unnecessary
