@@Cam-jx4drgh I think there is a multitude of reasons, one being that in my opinion it has become unfashionable, to show any national pride as an English person, but I think the main reason would be that most English people are proud to be a part of the United Kingdom, consider the rest of the United Kingdom to be essentially our 'people', so naturally our accomplishments are also theirs, however a large amount of those other countries feel very differently towards us.

Tom is like no other fighter in ufc history. I’m not talking about talent which he is…but the man’s heart is so big and he loves hugs and showing affection to his fellow people whom he sees even has the slightest interest of receiving a hug. What a guy

Exactly. I try to explain to people why I only watch UFC and no other sports. No other sport has a Jiri, an Alex Peirera, and a Tom Aspinall.

Boys I woke up my lady when Tom knocked him out I nearly cried but them one twos what did it wow lightning fast for the devision Tom was willing to get hit at that moment to put him out. Well done Tom come on the prospect 3 ufc champs from the UK let's go

Exactly, Tom is willing to risk his own safety to completely destroy his opponent. He is now the most exciting fighter in the UFC, by far. Nobody else comes close. Tom is so fast, and has the 2nd fastest fight average out of the entire UFC roster. The way he ends fights is unlike any other fighter right now.

Aspinall is a solid, solid heavyweight. He's a technical, fast, agile and powerful fighter. Like the old legends like Fedor, Nogueira and Cro-Cop. Happy for him and the British. Hopefully the winner of Jon vs Stipe fights him next!

I’m so psyched that I’ve watched every one of Tom’s fights in the UFC. It has been a treat every time seeing the evolution and the grace of his presence in the UFC. Without a doubt it is not matter of if but when will he be heavyweight champion is what we’re all asking.

I actually think he is the best UFC fighter in the last 30 years of the UFC. If he can beat Jon Jones at heavyweight (which seems almost a foregone conclusion because Jones is not a fast fighter or powerful striker) then he can take Jon's place. Consider that Jon is considered the best MMA fighter in history; but many of us believe that Tom would beat him from pillar to post.

Well done Tom Aspinall. He did what many dangerous heavyweights have failed to do and that’s knock out Sergei Pavlovich. I expected Pavlovich to win because of how dominant he was but Tom’s speed & reflexes were the difference. Respect to the U.K. on now having 2 UFC champs 👍🏻 Aspinall vs Stipe would be a great fight since Jones will be out for at least 6 months. Stipe would be a great name for Tom to have on his resume.
