RoboGameBoy64 exactly, that's what it really is. Its not that either of them " saw the potential " of the game. They were there at the beginning and it took off. I was 7 when Magic started and my family wasn't in a financial position that would have allowed me to buy like I can today as an adult. If we were i'd have a 100,000 dollar deck as well.

Let the execution by a thousand card cuts begin. I have a friend who does this, on top of saying cringy things aloud to my competition, and it invariably makes me drop games that I should win when he perches on my shoulder after his matches are over. He does wait till after the game to comment about the game, but he will stand there and breath down my kneck while distracting both me and my opponent during the game. For example, one time he started to correct my opponent's pronunciation of a card name, which turned into an exchange and prolonged debate. I explained to him that if we had been in a biker bar instead of a LGS he would have had his lights knocked out. The problem is he plays red/green and me blue/white, or I used to, now I have switched to aggro just to make sure I finish as fast as him so I can preserve my win ratio.

Wow, they totally scammed Rudy out of that pack. Regardless of what they SAID they did with the proceeds of it, them suddenly changing their minds and keeping Rudy from the winning pack was blatantly obvious that they didn’t want him to open it, much less keep the contents.
