[ TOKYO WEEK IN MY LIFE ] ikebukuro, fashion museum, fancy cafe party 🍰
I had a bit too much fun this week 😂 I enjoyed celebrating my friends birthday and pretending like I was a classy lady who enjoys cultural activities and expensive restaurants with waterfront views 😇 Maybe one day I'll manifest it enough to be real!! heheh I need to hermit now to recover 💀
How are you guys? I can't believe it's already July!! June went by so quickly, I feel like I hardly did anything!
Also, I really have to go back for those Genshin Impact taiyaki things in Ikebukuro before they end....but I think the line is always massive 😭 Hopefully I can manage to go once before they're gone ahhh!
Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe 🌸 As always thanks so much for watching my silly life videos 🥺

I'm watching your videos in a row and I can't stop. I love your sense of humor and how I can relate with you xD
I love these little slice of life videos. I'm not sure if I'll ever get the chance to travel, so it's fun to get a peek at places I wish I could visit. Thank you!
I’m glad you speak about the heat and humidity. I cannot deal or function in this weather.
“Are you taking selfie of the pizza?” HAHAHAA OMG same
Your vlogs are so relaxing to watch! Makes my Japan travelling fever get worse tho haha. All those places you film look so beautiful!♡

thanks so much 🥺💕 the borders will reopen one dayyyy 😭
Lmao "I don't solve my problems I run away from them" is big mood. Also, "No one can stop me" is big adult student vibe, and I feel it in my bones. This video was so chaotic and I love it, but also I hope you're okay. Hope things calm down a little for you soon. It was my birthday two days ago but I had to work 12 hours that day, so today I'm celebrating and I am pleased to consider this video part of my birthday gifts lol.

Happy late birthday!! 🎊 Heheh thanks, only a few more weeks of the semester left then I can take a break 🙏
I'm a new subscriber. I love that you go do things solo, even karaoke (I saw in a previous vlog). I did a quick solo trip to Tokyo Disney a couple of years ago and noticed that while having afternoon tea at the Disneyland Hotel there were 2 other women enjoying tea alone as well. I think this is a more normal thing than here in the US. I plan to visit Tokyo sometime next year so keeping track of these interesting places are going to. Cute dresses too.

Thanks for watching!! Yeah doing things alone is much more normal here 💕
Your videos are so relatable as a graduate student who lives alone also 😂 (currently in US but have also lived abroad alone too!)
The Blue dress looks fantastic on you. x
Great music in this episode 🙂 Also, those pancakes at 12:14 made me want to quite my diet 😅 Btw, do you plan do stay and work in Tokyo after you graduate?

I do!! Not sure what I’ll be doing after I get my degree but I plan on definitely staying in Tokyo
your humor cracks me up! 😂
That ppt was so cute and on point! Lol. Ok so you mentioned you were easily influenced, same here. I really wanted pancakes 😆 also if it isn't too expensive you could go to an aquarium while you still have some free time, that could be fun to see.

Ooh I haven’t been to an aquarium in years that’s a good idea I should go this summer 😳
I love your hello kitty PPT! My first PPT for my MBA I filled with GIFs from Schitts Creek. It was amazing and my teacher loved it.
hihi i have the same shorts , so cute !!
You’re hilarious 😆 “so, I have no sense of time” it can be like that, though! Thanks again for the video. 🙏 It’s always nice to see them on my day off work.

Alison you are tooooo cute!!!!
Your life is much more interesting than you think! I just discovered you channel Allison and I enjoy your vids so much! (watching them in random order so just deciding to comment on this one >.>) Great editing and wonderful music 10/10. I visited Japan what seems like a lifetime ago (in '04) and I am building up the courage to make the effort to make a proper return. I am a high anxiety person and I can really relate to your quiet lifestyle and look forward to seeing more slice of life via Allison in Tokyo!

love your videos=)
yes! The duchess' 50 tea recipes such a good webtoon! Also, love your subtle message on how you were incapacitated xD Aside from Bidgerton, you should check out the BBC Pride and Prejudice 1995 TV series ! Hopefully, Kazuha comes home for you!

Watch bridgerton
5:49 LOL wait what is that restaurant called????????????
Hey Allison, just discovered your channel a few weeks ago and now I am totally hooked! When you mentioned period drama's I couldn't be happier! I love them :D Give 'Gran Hotel', 'The Paradise', 'Sanditon' (and ofcourse) Netflix's Bridgerton a try. I also love the BBC's 'Pride and Prejudice' (1995) adaption... but I may be biased because I love Colin Firth :P If you fancy a movie instead of a series: I really like the 'Emma' 2020 version and the 1996 version with Kate Beckinsale in the lead. Well, that was my period drama rant :P Hope you will find something you like!

@@keehosgrl Yeah it was so refreshing! But also still a sucker for the "oldies". The period drama's from the BBC are so good!
I'm a big historical drama fan, so not sure if my taste will be similar to yours, but I can never not recommend the 1995 Pride and Prejudice drama. Funny and serious 👍
You should watch Bridgerton! Period piece with a good soundtrack and isn't a "traditional" period piece.

It's quite a light and fluffy regency era drama. There's the original books too by Julia Quinn.

Me & my girlfriend love your vlogs but could you please explain why the Audio mostly never works when you're outside?
@AllisoninTokyo
2 жыл бұрын
Usually I get rid of the sound because it’s a lot of traffic noise 😂 Sometimes I try to talk to the phone and the audio is always garbage but I don’t think it will be better until I upgrade phones (maybe this winter….? 😭) Sorry 😭
