What with all the dirty squatters by the plaza close to the theaters. Looks like East Vancouver. Horrible. Can't believe Tokyo has gone down so much. Like a Dem run city in the USA. So bad. Please clean it up soon!

Hi, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, in this particular area of Shinjuku, there is a local social issue known as the 'Toyoko kids.' Essentially, it involves a group of young people, many of school age, who live around the Kabukicho district of Shinjuku after being kicked out or driven from their homes. This issue is becoming more prevalent, with young people from all over Japan coming here, and the government appears to be taking no action, as you can see. Hopefully, this situation will improve, and this place will return to its previous cleanliness. Thanks for watching.
