Damn, so many comments are over the top critical. This place is great. Also, it's weird seeing people say that the "one in Orlando is better" when there isn't one there. 😅 They're getting the theme park attractions mixed up with the studio tours. They're completely different things. There are only two tours: this one and the UK one. Not only that, but this is an official tour paid for by Warner Brothers. You're getting a legitimate experience here. You can have a favorite location, but being unnecessarily critical of others is immature. This looks like lots of fun for Potterheads and casual fans alike. As they say: don't knock it till you try it.

This is blowing my mind. This is way more elaborate than I would ever have imagined. Thanks for the excellent coverage.

I'm going to Tokyo next spring and will be there for 10 days. As a Potterhead, I'm totally going to add this to my itinerary!

I was in Tokyo when this opened but purchasing a ticket required proof of residence then so I couldn't go. Hopefully things will change soon.

@@bahamasc I really wanted to visit too but I just found out that we will be going there during Japan's Golden week 😭. So I'm pretty sure that it will be packed with many people both tourist and locals. Might not be able to take all the rides due to the predicted long queues.

Fantastic, thank you very much for filming this. I have been to the UK studio three times and the Japanese studio seems to be a little bit better, but there is always something new to see each time. It is worth going back at Christmas when the props and hogwarts are covered with snow, it is magical.

Honestly I stumbled on this place on my way to a different place and it was quite interesting. Shame I couldn't go since I didn't have a reservation.

This is like really really good. Wow.

I was here last January. The experience was amazing. The video of the riding of the broom was edited so badly though. The food was ok. But overall, I enjoyed every section of it. I bought myself a tote bag, Shirts, some candies and a name tag holder as souvenirs. 1 thing to bring tho, a wand, coz I forgot mine, the wand from Universal Studio works here, you can do some spell castings here as well. Make sure you have someone with you to take pictures. There are also things you can only do with their own app with QR code.

Oh wow, we didn't know they were doing this. It is almost an exact replica of the one in London that we have been to many times over the years. I wonder how many of the sets are replicas, or originals. Fun tour ❤

Is it ok to bring ur own tumblr inside the tour?

I hope that they will include the Whomping Willow tree, with slide to the Shrieking Shack, and Hogs evade village.

For a true lifelike experience, it's an absolute must to visit the one in Universal Orlando.

I like how some exhibits are different from the UK to keep each studio unique. Such as the ministry of magic being bigger in Japan and more immersive, and the brand new edition of the moving staircase at hogwarts. While the UK version has a huge section for gringotts bank (which I won’t spoil for people who haven’t been). Can’t wait to visit this version the next time I visit Japan.

I've been to the UK one...the gift shop isnt as big and theres no food court (at least when i went)...there also wasnt that intro - ours you started at privet drive with the staircase where harry slept...and then it led to the doors to the great hall... the only issue with this is that the UK one has most of the original props ad costumers - the tokyo one, just like the theme parks, are mostly all replica items. However...this one seems to be a lot more interactive...it's also on a larger site so you have a lot more to do... i love the portrait idea and the staircase...the UK one feels more like parts of the sets to look at so you can't touch much

Found Harry Potter studio like Japan 🇯🇵

So there are now two Harry Potter studio experiences in the world? One in the UK, and one in Japan? The one in Japan is an exact recreation of the sets in the UK right? I'm guessing there are some real props and costumes in this new experience. I didn't expect something like this, but this is still very impressive nontheless. Now I don't need to travel to the UK to see all this lol. Anyways, it's interesting that this studio experience is now accesible to a new audience on the opposite side of the globe.

The only difference is Florida one has an additional park. Afaik, there's only two HP studio tour in the world for now, which is the UK one and this new one in Japan.

@@kellysouter4381 The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, FL and Hollywood, California are ONLY theme parks. The tour in England is legitimate sets, props, and costumes from the movies. This tour in Japan is a recreation. This studio tour and the theme park are two very different experiences.

Hi! Thanks for the comment. Yes, you can go back to any of the rooms! You are free to roam around inside (except for the first part of the tour). Just don’t go inside the souvenir shop at the last part of the tour so you’ll have no problems going back. 😃

They're part of the exhibition and free! but some areas will ask you to pay for photos just like they do with rollercoasters

Throughout this attraction you can see faceless mannequins wearing the recognizable outfits of the HP characters. I had to laugh at the Voldemort mannequin who had his bald head, robe, Nagini, and his NOSE. 😅

@dendypradana78 You should be there before 16:30. You can stay inside even after 16:30 until closing. But you cannot enter if you missed the 16:30 time slot.

Not in the slightest. The London tour would be the most authentic one you could go to. The one in Tokyo is just another official option. It looks like they got some authentic set pieces for this tour. Not only that, but both experiences are different in certain ways. Again, you go to the London one to get the full experience of the sets. Any other tours would be additional experiences that are fun and informative.

That thing must have been (and is) expensive to build and manage o.0

London is the original, everything used in the films is at the London attraction which also includes the real steam engine they used in the films, 5972 Olton Hall. This engine in Japan is a classmate number 4920 Dumbleton Hall.

Is it all in Japanese or English?
