I love the ways they combine every little signature details of Japanese culture into 1 video in a funny way. Great video, Great idea, Great key moment, Great introduction!!!!

We may have lost Shinzo Abe, but his legacy will live on across Japan. He was one of our closest allies of the United States. The US-Japan alliance will always remain a stronger, unbreakable bond that would last for eternity

Though it was somewhat of a shame how Tokyo 2020 actually turned out in the end...Blame Corona.

Tokyo 2020+1 Summer Olympics....if it wasn't for Shinzo Abe for bringing the Games to Japan, it wouldn't be possible. Even though it was delayed by a Year, and had to manage during the Pandemic last year w/o Visitors, it was still a success. His untimely death was both shocking and sad, Arigato Abe-san, you are a true Ultraman ( of a PM ) in the hearts of everyone. PS, it's almost 1 year ago since the Games were in Tokyo, and thanks to KZread for archiving last year's Olympics and the Events, it's worth a second look!

@@ApprenPlayer He would have, but his Successor, I forgot, Mita something opened the Games last year, but he was the Driving Force for bringing the Summer Games back to Japan, and making Japan the Country that is today. But let's not forget 10 years ago when Her Royal Highness, the Late, Great, Queen Elizabeth II opened the 2012 London Summer Games. Her passing marks the end of an Era the likes we will never see again, 70 Platinum Years on the British Throne, the longest in that Country's History. One can only hope her Successor, the Newly Crowned King Charles III ( I'm surprised that he didn't chose George VII as his Title ) to carry on his Mother's Traditions. I will definitely take another look at the Tokyo 2020+1 Summer Games again, it's amazing how they pulled it off during a Pandemic. Thanks for the reply, and have a good weekend ☺️!

If only the pandemic didn't happen and postponed the show for a year. If only he ended his political career on a high note watching the games in person waving to his people. So sad that a coward took away his life. R.i.p Abe.

It had literally everything to be one of the best opening ceremonies ever, perhaps the best one ever. Sadly that title will remain with the Brits and the Chinese.

The opening ceremony was altered as original plans were erased due to COVID including Japanese culture like Anime, J-Pop and Video Games. Naomi Watanabe would have been there but was booed due to insincere comments.

これを見るたび、アベシンゾウは演技ヘッタクソだなぁ、と思ったものです。 リオでの登場時、即座に服をバラバラにするのではなく、しばらくマリオの動きをしたあとに正体をバラせば盛り上がったのに…。 電通の企画なのか、他のところが考えたのかは知りませんが、そのへんの調整はどうなってたんでしょうね。
