Never clicked so fast 😂 I’m moving to Japan in September so I will need my hair braided in December again, looks like this might be a go to place for me. My hair is thick too, and I love getting my hair braided have been getting my hair mostly braided since I was little.

I was wondering if you had an opinion on cultural appropriation as it pertains to braids. Different braiding styles have roots in different cultures. I have always been into box braids, and the culture and people they come from, but have never had them as an adult due to concerns of culture appropriation. This is a complex topic but if you are open to sharing your perspective I would appreciate that.
