Tokyo Disneyland (東京ディズニーランド, Tōkyō Dizunīrando) (local nickname TDL) is a 115-acre (47 ha) theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, near Tokyo. Its main gate is directly adjacent to both Maihama Station and Tokyo Disneyland Station. It was the first Disney park to be built outside the United States and it opened on April 15, 1983. It is owned by The Oriental Land Company, which licenses intellectual property from The Walt Disney Company. Tokyo Disneyland and its companion park, Tokyo DisneySea, are the only Disney parks in the world not owned or operated by The Walt Disney Company in any capacity.
The park has seven themed areas: the World Bazaar; the four traditional Disney lands: Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland; and two mini-lands: Critter Country and Toontown. Many of these areas mirror those in the original Disneyland as they are based on American Disney films and fantasies. Fantasyland includes Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Scary Adventures, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant, based on Disney films and characters. The park is noted for its extensive open spaces to accommodate the large crowds that visit the park.

Thank you for the review! I was in doubt if I want to visit it. But now I see that even though I'm not a fan of mouses, I can still find something interesting to see there.
A popular theory for why the Swiss Family Treehouse has been closed for a long time is that you can see a lot from up there and the OLC doesn't want the guests to see the construction on Fantasy Springs

We can see it from the resort line and Jasmine's flying carpet. Perhaps the reason for the long-term closure of the tree house is the lack of sponsors.

Probably go with DisneySea as it more unique than Tokyo Disneyland.

Apparently there are no fast pass or vip experiences available in Tokyo

Yes it does! You can pay extra for Genie+, but that is only to skip the lines. You can still enter all the regular lines.

It's on the list. I'm based in Asia at the moment, but planning to move back to the UK in 2025, so European Theme Parks will feature a lot more in the future! 😀
Can you do all in 1 day? You jave to pay for every single place insite or just one ticket for entry?

It all depends when you visit. During a quiet day, it's possible to try most rides. You only need one ticket to experience all the attractions! 😁
Disney Japan looks empty compared to their American counterparts. Is this due to the time of year and day you visited when you shot this? We are planning for Sept this year and want to know if crowds will be the same around this time?

The Tokyo Disneyland parks are known for their huge crowds. That being said, the best times to visit are Jan-June and the first week of September. Hope you have a great trip! 😁

Ahhh ok! Thank you for your reply. I’m from New Zealand and have only visited the American Disney parks. The waiting times are terrible BUT it is Disney, so will prepare brace ourselves for our visit to Japan woohoo 🎢✨

@@kazuthesamurai7346I took your word and flew all the way to Japan to see it. I would say Disney Tokyo is totally different from the one in Shanghai. If I were a kid, the Tokyo one is more fun and has more attractions. As an adult, I would pick the one in Shanghai. The teacup ride in Tokyo was crazy…)That thing spins faster than a jet engine!
