It took decades to finally realize that it's not only Balto who should be a star in this serum run in January 1925.. it's about time to praise Togo as well.. especially he was the lead dog who ran farther than Balto.. please dont forget Fox, Fritz and other 150 dogs and all the 20 mushers who participated in the serum run relay... there were 5 dogs who died in this relay.. it means they gave more than what they can give :( .. I hope TOGO and other 150 dogs will have statue as well like Balto...

Your blatantly NOT even close to an animal lover are u, otherwise you would only be stating what a disgrace a "race" like that is & how disgusting it is to make a movie about it, especially one made by Disney, of all companies, making it for Nothing but money. 5 dogs died?? 5 fu*king dogs were worked to DEATH?? Seriously? Thats the OPPOSITE of something to celebrate! Its fu*king sick. "Mans best friend" worked to death... This movie should be about the story of how ALL men involved were executed for animal cruelty.. (I wish!)

Almost everyone with togo did a great job, they all did great

Man and trusted friends through adversity, inspirational, heart moving

The whole Nome story is astonishing, really. The logistics of getting the medicine to the town, in that era, were just insane. In hindsight it was a million-to-one shot, that only worked because everyone involved gave absolutely everything.

I love that dog he had a strong heart. I've been reading everything I can find about his true life story. This happened in 1925... a deadly disease call diphtheria was raging in Alaska.

Yeah it almost had 100% mortality rate, like 630 miles I believe they traveled in -62°F sometimes. So wild

This was a terrific movie! Combine a true story about courage, selflessness and a brave old dog and it will be tough not to be moved to tears. In defense of how it was all reported and the fame Balto and Gunnar Kassen received above all the others, that was the team that brought the serum on its final leg. A team that had bravely traveled through the night with terrible winds and nearly zero visibility. So they were all brave, and every man and dog did their part.

Thank you soooooo much Disney for making this film for Togo.. it's really about time to recognize him, Seppala the other dog teams for what they did during the Serum Run relay in January 1925.. :) :) :)

@@vadimignat5458 if you see the movie you will learn something when Balto is selected by the press. Balto wasn't the only sole lead dog. There was another named Fox but they decided to select Balto because of its name. When I learned, I checked their history and it was true. Balto wasn't even Gunner's dog. Gunner was a complete fraud. I know that Balto is just a dog but Gunner was a Human.

I read everything I could find about Togo I cried when he died and when I read about Mr. Seppalas' death I cried some more.my kids tell me I'm to sentimental I just love dogs and good stories. Togo reminds me of my TOBBY, my japanese spitz which is already dead.. 😭 my father used to let tobby go with him in the mountain forest which my grandfather owns..they have an amazing adventure with my father along with our askal dog KONG, chuchay, and Par..tobby save my father many times..and also saved me and some of my family from danger many times..even the entire village he save us from burning fires that could kill the entire village..haisttt..gonna watch this movie..i miss my tobby.. 😭😭😭💔💔💔

Balto and other dogs are heroes, but TOGO and Seppala are great legend.

It's already worth it only by watching the real dogs not CGI.

HOW have you lost your father & sister etc when judging by your comment on a Fu*king DISNEY movie of all movies, your about 6 year old?? Maybe its better than the "recent" Star Wars movies like you say, I wouldnt know as I couldnt watch all of the later ones, but Dont EVER even suggest its better than the first, original Star Wars movies, or movies like Forest Gump etc, brilliant movies, perfect movies, as this "Togo" (it even sounds childish) is a KIDS movie for fu*ks sake, literally NO kids movie is better, or honestly could even come close to some of the bets movies ever made. @@VirusOfCyrus I agree with you but this movie is not childish. This movie is based on a true story about a dog running his heart out to save lives. He ran over a gulf TWICE and almost died. But it isn’t better than Star Wars

I’m sorry but whoever decided to put the final song at the end of the movie needs to get their 💩 rocked. Straight in the feels 😭

Mate we are mostly in the middle class And yes we have a lot of very very very offensive language towards each other and Westerners (USA especially) Like we call Europeans and Americans “Ghost people” in Cantonese. But he did make the 200+ mile run, and he sired many champion leads in his last three years. Balto was also a great sledder in everyway, but Togo deserves to be mentioned for crossing the sound.

Without the effort of Togo there would be no part of Balto...Togo did about 255 miles of the most difficult journey...Balto did the last leg and only 55 miles , give or take, Balto is a hero, but Togo is a true LEGEND.

If Togo failed Balto will not get the serum. If Balto has failed on the ice,Togo’s efforts are wasted. So they both deserve credit

Lol Batlo traverse is much easier compare to Togo. Togo run from the starting point to the pick up point of the relay a 264 mile. While Balto was the back up dog incase Togo can't complete the traverse. Read the wiki
