Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band-a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation-a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Through these efforts, Playing For Change aims to create hope and inspiration for the future of our planet.

Wow. Absolutely love this music. Found Baby Black Ndombe singing in Playing for Change , "La Bamba". I have a Spanish heritage and loved all the different cultures involved in making of the song. He totally rocked his part! And in his own language. Wish I knew more of it and could understand his words. For now, I simply enjoy the music and His expressions in the words he sings. Thank you. Very captivating to me.

Music is a universal language that doesn't need to be translated. With it, soul speaks to soul.
I don't know what he's signing but it's beautiful, the power of music.

super...i worked in africa as maritime officer and i stayed in africa congo democratic republic for 6 months...this reminds me of kinshasa boma and other villages from congo river :D

Musical is the remedy of our soul. It controls our mood, calm us up, and sweep away our stress when we listen to it. most of the time we don't have to understand the language to like the song. Music is about the sounds it produces that please us and makes us feel good. As native of DR Congo, i am proud what Congo had to contribute to my being. It happened to me to live there long enough to know about the culture of the country. No matter what, Congo is the country of my mind.

This man sing in Lingala and Tshiluba,.....one of the 42 dialect speack in Kongo_Kinshasa(Zaire)......Best of luck to those singer...I love it...keep it up.

Mamie shetannie thank you for recognizing congolese culture, but Lingala and tshiluba are not dialects. they are among 4 national languages.
