I really enjoyed those flicks .especially seminary and missionary. I wish the church made more flims like this

Staying home and doing sacrament from home I remembered this it popped in my head from a prayer my hubby gave. I was baptized 4 years ago in June and I remember this from Missionaries when I was a kid and it popped in my head to watch after Sacrament it still gets me every time! This and my turn on earth

Though I grew up in the Church, home life was not so great. This film and pretty much anything spiritual was mocked by my Dad and siblings. It was confusing, hard, hurtful and miserable. But my little heart loved the feelings I got from films like these and living scriptures. The Spirit is stronger than the mocking words of the world.

I watched this video which gave me the answer to become a member 25 years ago

I was in my sister's car on Sunday and FM100.3 plays religious music all day on Sundays and last Sunday, they played Together Forever. When I was in Seminary at Mountain View High School in Orem, Utah, we got a seminary video with all of the seniors on it and they had that song as well. While, the song makes me think of that time, I also think of my dad's parents and my mom's grandma. My dad's mom passed away in April 2001, my mom's grandma passed away in June 2001 and my dad's dad passed away in April 2002. I miss them so much at times but I'm glad that they aren't here for this pandemic. 😢

I needed this. Thanks for sharing. All stories still apply 30+ years later.

It’s March 22, 2020 I am a Catholic.My Dad’s sister just passed away this morning. I’m going to the funeral with my mom tomorrow. RIP “Tata Mira” 1961-2020 May God Be With You

I've been on both sides. And through sad experience twice( I'm a hard learner) I found The Church and following the scriptures and what our General Authorities tell us are the way to true happiness. The ironic thing was I knew it but didn't use the Atonement to grow and heal enough...The Book of Mormon newer video on Lehis Dream is pretty powerful. Satans short term answers lead to misery. Our Heavenly Fathers way like in Mans search for happiness videos are the way as it reminds us is the way to true joy and happiness. Take care Brother

I used to stay up late to watch it, when I was a kid. My mom didn’t know.

I remember showing this video to a less active member on my mission and gaining a testimony that families can be together for the first time for myself . I grew up a member of this church so i remember singing this and giving testimony about this doctrine but it wasn’t until I watched this that I started to believe families can be together like for real. I guess you can say I intellectually knew but it wasn’t until then that my heart knew. Wow, what a feeling of excitement and pure joy. Not very different to how one feels around Christmas. Harah for Israel!

Pride (NPD) and terrible choices made (honestly by most ppl on earth, especially now) do affect every aspect. Christ words, His Church, His gospel, the Holy Spirit heal everything. We need to receive....but o is it hard. Broken trust feels impossible to put together. My heart goes out to you. God sees all, knows how to help you. Do all you can to get the Spirit. My favorite talk is by Loren Dalton "you are receiving revelation" 2018 ensign college...you're not forgotten. You are amazing. Love...true love exists. It's hard to find. But with Prayer, the Spirit, I know you can. Christ will heal the wounds. He has that power. Prayers coming your way.

I always tracted with this movie in the mission field, it's truly one of the doctrines that separates Mormons from the rest of the world so yeah it rocked, I don't care if everyone else in the Tucson mission thought it was corny

I was an LDS missionary and passed these videos out. I love them still. But my marriage life has been a complete disaster. I couldn't win with my limited ability to help myself through. My personal life is so staggeringly disappointing....although I am honest and hard working and successful...I stink at being happy with the nightmares of an unhappy marriage. So here I am, having baptised so many back then, and yet I feel so completely alone now..and for so very very long now. Now that I need God most, he has largely ignored me unless it's to help someone else. Only then does he work with me. What is going on??? Why does everyone else get forgiveness that asks except me?? No one really can answer this. Bryan W. Oklahoma.

Through study of pride (NPD) coupled with the Gospel of Christ, I've found answers. Been married 15 years...a tough road and SO many contentious aggressions, but only now are we finally putting shattered pieces back together. Truly satan is raging in the hearts of near everyone. Christ is the antidote. Perfect is a facade...and satan uses this to destroy our happiness. Loren Dalton 2018 talk at Ensign college truly helped me. Pray always, many go through what you're going through. Much love to you.

I feel your pain 😢. Life by far isn't easy, and it's not a happily ever after story... It takes a lot of work & sacrifice. I always say that anything that doesn't kill us makes us stronger 💪, and we're not dead yet... You've got this! You're a beloved child of Heavenly Father. Think back to a time when you felt Heavenly Father's love ❤️ for you... He's still there, even when you may not feel it. Have courage to keep pressing forward. Pray for strength as you go through hard times... It will get better... Not easy, but better... 😊

There is another video "Godly Sorrow Leads to Repentance". It starred Aaron Eckhart, then a BYU student. His fiance to be had broken the law of chastity and so the bishop denied her a recommend to get sealed.

jerwin reñon I think the music was all done by Michael McLean. You can look through his cds (I think he has a "best of" cd that includes most, if not all, of these songs) and find the songs. Though I don't think they have the official soundtrack for this movie. Hope that helps.

Found that tape in a thrift shop, neat find.

i like they say they're daughter got hit by a car and died when me as a kid riding a bike and got hit by a motorcycle on the head and still survived , it's a miracle

You can be with your family forever as long as you pay 10% to the LDS church. Also don’t drink coffee otherwise God will make sure you never see your family again.

Apostata I can see where you're coming from but more than emotion has led the people I've known to conversion. Those feelings are more complementarty than fundamental to conversion in a meaningful/lasting conversion. You can know the truth of these things to if you truly want to find out if they are true. I know they are.
