If Endeavor had changed and had accountability for his mistakes with his children after he thought Toya died, he would have seen hope coming home. Instead he left feeling dead

Dabi literally deserves all the love...my heart breaks for his story. Truly.

All Toya wanted to do is make his father proud of him. After seeing that his death had no impact on his father’s goal/pride would have broken even the strongest of wills.

Toya looks like he grew a beard but it’s just stitches and burns around his bottom cheeks and does has ears burns, neck burns and little eye bags burns too

The fact he wanted to go back home even after waking up from a coma is so sad D': By the way, i don't think that touya actually 'died'.. because in the manga.. (spoiler) we see that he says "LOOK AT ME" To Endeavor, which is exactly what touya wants not dabi who wants to kill him, although.. i believe dabi and touya are the same, he wants Endeavor to look at him at ANY cost even if it means killing him and his family AND himself with the process, thats so depressing 😭 Not a fun fact: i think when touya woke up at the age of 16 from his coma he still had the mind of the 13 years old touya but considering how smart he was as a child, it's not easy to tell

Touya just wanted his dad to look at him he felt like he wasn’t good enough I like that drive he just wanted his dad to be proud of him but it drove him to be unstable Ik a lot of people including me felt where he was coming from so if I’m being honest I respect Touya💯(no I’m not crazy)

I feel like if only Endeavor invest and introduce his son to the resources department, I think they could have made a supporr item for him so his flame wouldn't hurt him as much. I'm betting he is just ashamed of his first son and afraid of scandal.

Touya was easily manipulated. His dad didn't want him to keep training as the fire was killing touya.

Something that has always left me wondering why was unable to give him fresh skin on every part of his body? We can see that his entire body was charred when he nearly burned himself to death. Then he wakes up three years later and we see nearly all his skin looks new except for his neck, jaw, forearms, and the skin below his eyes. Was he unable to repair it simply because the fire in that instance originated from those areas before spreading to the rest of Toya's body?

I don't get this either, he could've gotten it grafted but ig when he was in the coma they obviously couldn't do that kind of surgery without his consent. Tbh I think it's not grafted bc he's supposed to look tough and badass

If I recall correctly they implanted cells into him? Dabi's body probably was not "complete" yet when he woke up, and would've needed further care. His body was only meant to last for a month in that state, as stated. The doctor probably meant to continue the treatment to be a proper vessel in case something happened to Shigaraki.

I have the same opinion as Shoto about his dad. He was a bad father but sometimes he was good (he didn't want Toya to burn himself ...) 'cause he throw all his frustation about not being close to all might on his sons. But now he is really sorry and trying his best, he is dealing with the consequences and trying to be a good person and father and this is enough. Come on, everyone do bad choices.

Shoto was who suffered More and still defends his father and Mother and is a hero and a good person. Toya was always had mental problems and was More "bad" and this explains the path he chose, completely different from Shoto.

Endeavor told touya to stop as the flame was killing touya. Endeavor has that issue too. Shoto is the only one who can master the heat as he has cold too

His goal also was similar to Shigaraki’s which was also to be a hero

Toya is a broken character and I can understand why, but I feel like his mind was so far gone that he misinterpreted almost everything endeavor was actually thinking, he thought endeavor looked at him like a failure, endeavor never once viewed Toya as a failure, it was the exact opposite endeavor thought he failed Toya, everything he thought was wrong on a lot of lvls, and his actions shouldn’t be excused of killing people, I admire that as a younger kid he didn’t understand a lot of things, but he should’ve walked through the door and revealed he was alive to endeavor and the family it would’ve changed a lot, and I don’t think endeavor would’ve been so hurt and angry, and maybe the family dynamic would’ve changed a lot

Its already proven that Endeavor see Toya as a failure, nothing can change that. The mere fact that he had to keep pushing Rei to birth kids until the perfect child was born (Shoto), is a huge proof that Endeavor only saw Toya's power and not his own kid. He neglect that child and doesn't even want to stop him properly without resorting to shouting and violence. Of course its also true that Touya murdering people is only on him alone and shouldn't be pinned on Endeavor. But in the end he doesn't care about any of it. He knows he is a hypocrite, heck he admit it himself that he has gone crazy. Because the only thing he cared about is further damaging Endeavor both physically and mentally.

Man, poor Touya. He was so desperate for his father to see his new trick, yet he couldn’t have the chance to, and ended up becoming the monster he is now. I can’t even fully blame All For One for this, since, while yes, it WAS his fault for Touya being a Nomu, it was mostly Touya’s fault for becoming Dabi for being so desperate for Enji to see something that caused his burns.

Toya wakes up in orphanage. Atleast that's what they say. He is care taker of the kids. But it seems like a brainwash center for vulnerable kids. The reason why AFO (the sound you hear from the computer) choose to save Toya bcs of his destructive ability. He thought he can use his obsession with Endeavor against him and make Toya his pawn. But Toya was too stubborn and refused to give in.
