Toddler Scolds Dad For Speaking to His Teenage Daughter Angrily - 1215002

Ойын-сауық

This toddler overheard a conversation between her dad and her elder sister where he scolded her. However, the toddler didn't like the way he spoke to her teenage daughter and decided to take matters into her own hands. She firmly told her dad that she was upset about how he handled the situation and tried to preach him to do better with the grace of God.

If a child doesn't make you a better person, nothing will. Children are God's gift to you. You can see yourself through them and provide them with the things you lacked as a child. It's your chance to heal and not an opportunity to inflict your pain upon them.

@@DeborahSch Raising 5 children doesn't make you good at it. I can see clearly amongst my people I know, kids (now adults) in families with authoritarian fathers are more unhappy and insecure. If maintaining your authority is your main priority in your relationships with kids, you're not going to have a good relationship with them. Of course you can still believe that you do, but that's another problem. Like someone here said, the kid feels safe enough to express herself. I wouldn't dare do it in my family when I was a kid, because of sheer fear, not because of respect. Respect is earned by being a good example, not by shutting your kids down when they dare speak up. The kind of parenting that you think is good leads to raising anger repressors who can't stand up for themselves. And then they'll be obsessed with authority in relationship with their children because they're insecure.

This is an amazing glimpse into the mind of a truly precocious child. What a mind she has!! I am a retired mathematics professor, and it is clear that this child will likely grow into an adult with an exceptional intellect. It also demonstrates that even toddlers grasp complicated concepts, but haven't yet developed the verbal skills necessary to fully express their ideas. Our children ARE our future, and this child fills my heart with hope❤😊!!

I totally respect the father to react so humbly and calm, and I absolutely love that the child dares to speak her mind, but I think her attitude is not really respectful. I'm not advocating a authoriarian style of parenting at all, but still, children should understand that there is a difference in how parents speak to children and how children speak to parents. After all, parents are the ones who are responsible, and children at that age do not understand everything, so they have to rely on their parents' good judgment many of times.

She is enlightened. She understands the revelation. God puts us in position not because we are capable but because He wants us to become capable.

She’s so articulate and strong. But he also made it safe and possible for her to do so, my parents would have blown up if I’d dare talk to them like that.

I love how he is trying to wrap up the conversation and she keeps reminding him of what's important and how it should play out.

This is open communication at its finest and also rawest . She is saying the truth firmly but respectfully to her daddy ..I have a granddaughter that knows she can come to me with anything ,big or small, and we will work it out . I tell her I will always try my best to be honest with her ( age appropriate) and she is to be honest to me . She listens and always knows she can tell me her feelings !!! Did I mention she's only 5?

What an old wise soul. It’s good her parents allow her to express her feelings in an adult manner.😊❤
