I've listened to this tune more times than I've had dinner.

There are only a handful of songs I can listen to over and over and over again without driving myself insane. This is one of those songs. The mood sits in this perfect little intersection between sadness and happiness. It's amazing that a few layers of simple synth progressions and a drum beat can appear to simultaneously acknowledge a certain longing and desire while also celebrating the drive to keep moving forward in pursuit of those things, no matter how long the journey may take. Just how I feel about it anyway.

Yes. Me too. Reminds me of the Alaskan cruise I went on with my ex-wife right before the divorce. It was a happy time because of the time we spent together. It was a sad time because she left me for another man. Both happy and sad.

This song is a miracle cure. It always makes me feel calm, happy, floaty, at peace with the world. Sort of like musical Prozac.

Around 2 years later I was in a cycle shop and heard it and went straight to the owner and was like "What's this song, I need to know!" He said it was BBC Radio 6... Truly one of the greatest songs ever made. Before covid I'd play this driving to the office atleast once a day. Instant mood booster!!!

I was at a music festival this month, seeing Todd Terje high as fuck on weed and with x in my system. Throughout Todd's entire hour-long performance I was absolutely struck by how music could make me and everyone else in the audience so damn happy. At many points during it, I broke into tears by how beautiful the music sounded, and how it brought everyone together as one. No phones, no aggression, no anger, just pure happiness from everyone. This song was the last one, and during the climax at the end I was just standing there with joyous tears in my eyes at how lucky we are to be able to bear witness to magic such as this. It was the single most profound experience in my life so far. It made me appreciate simply being alive. It doesn't matter how tough things are, as long as we can take the time to enjoy ourselves we will be okay. It's that yin and yang thing everyone talks about :) Peace and love x

I was doing some other computer tasks, and all the sudden my feet were kicking, head was bobbing... and i belted out a clear monologue of all the world's problems in one go, timed against the music :] This song... i dunno - through its chords, or through the beat... or something... has some kind of magic encoded in it. Today after work and errands, I came straight to my computer, booted it, and navigated directly to this song... now it's dissolving the confusion of the day, leaving behind just a good, clear feeling of positivity.

About 6 years ago I remember seeing a comment that said something like "I rub mayonnaise all over my body to this song" and I don't think I've seen a better comment yet.

One of my favorite tracks, ever. When the bridge hits, it's just NUTS

3:36 is so satisfying. By this point your totally lost in the track. When you got this banging while driving that moment always gives me goose bumps

difficult to describe the emotion this evokes in me. there is no other way to express it than through dance.

I found this music by accident and i am glad i did. What a beautiful arrangement. Its going to be on replay for a while :)

Dude totally agree - the harmony, the beat, the production. So clever yet so simple. Heard this years ago but forgot it. Heard it again this past summer while raving at 2AM at a beach cove on the island of Bohus Malmon in Sweden while celebrating Midsummer. The DJ was playing in this cove, everyone was dancing, and because it was Midsummer, it was a 2AM sunset. I'll never forgot looking at the sunset, checking my phone and seeing 2AM, while dancing to this song at full blast. Hard to put the feeling into words. All love though.

With just a month and a half to go in the 2010s - electronic/dance song of the decade? It is for me.

Just discovered this song about a month ago.....and I can't stop listening to it. At 48, I'm probably older than some of your parents but this is a BANGER.

The chords are very simple, and the beat isn’t overly complex, but I think that’s part of what lets the melody, (which rhythmically contains tons of great syncopation, and is actually not very simple at all!) shine so brightly. This track is a once-in-a-lifetime piece of ARP2600 genius: not only making tasteful use of many (if not all) of the Arp’s many features in a single track, but carrying with it so much emotion. I doubt in 100 years many other synthesizer-based tunes will ever come close. 🙏

This is the sort of song I expect to hear on a GTA game radio station. So 80s and quirky sounding, I love it!

I remember I found this song with Shazam in a club in Amsterdam sometime in 2012. Watched this video by then when it only had a few hundred views. Became one of my all time favourite songs :D

I heard it in Yuma tent at Coachella in 2012 I believe it was dj Harvey.. I think... could never find it for a good three years till my buddy Marques played it out for me
