About 1 minute into the video, Todd does something really quite incredible. He ghosting and playing the backbeat on snare, bass with his right foot, ride cymbal with his right hand and with his left foot, he is both is both keeping time with the high hat AND taping it to let it sustain open for 1 beat per measure and he is doing it all FLAWLESSLY!!!! WOW!!

This is a perfect example of what I love about your playing. You pay homage to the original drum part in such a way as to hold John's original parts in high esteem with great respect, and then add your clever/technical embellishments that can be appreciated by everyone, NOT just drummers. It gets even better when you get to see a video like this and you demonstrate that stuff. It was so much fun seeing you guys last time, I hope you come around again real soon🎶
