Todd Snider was about 10 years old in Portland Oregon when I was doing this Rusty Wier song 4x per week! Yeh, I'm feeling rather OLD!

RIP Peter Cooper I asked him one if playing for Todd ever got repetitive He said "I just look at the face of the person on the front row that hasn't heard the story before. That helps me remember how great it was the first time I heard it."

the stories between his songs/about his songs are the best part of his shows. a MUST SEE!! barefoot & all...

Saw Todd in Nashville last night (2-20-2010). He told this story & it was hilarious. The girl on the swing was wearing a .38 Special t-shirt in last night's version. He then said her boyfriend who was there to defend her also had a .38 Special t-shirt. Same band, different tour. Classic delivery by TS.

That was the best story I heard all day.
