Today we #officiated at the graduation ceremony of 1, 341 officer-recruits at the #ZambiaPolice, #Lilayi Training College in Lusaka.
Our message to the graduates was that their job is to protect citizens. Let citizens run to them for protection and not running away from them as assailants. We told them to apply the law fairly without recourse to political affiliation or indeed social status.
Fellow citizens, let’s join hands with the men and women in uniform and curb crime of whatever form. Let's protect each other without infringing on each other's rights.
The men and women in uniform have our support and we encourage each one of them to serve the country to the best of their abilities as our ambassadors of change.
Once more, congratulations to the officers who have graduated today.

If we may chime in for a bit of advice: Don't use the word/term *_"Pass-Out"_* 🤨Because this title implies that the Police will be *_"Fainting!"_* (Falling out)😠 ..A better way should've read, *_"Award or Graduation Ceremony"_* 👍 within the title! ...OR was the words *_"Pass Out"_* used as the Click Bait! to get us here! 😉!

'Passing out parade' is the traditional British expression which i imagine chimes with the uniform, drill style etc - graduation ceremony is an Americanism in terms of uniformed services

Passing out parade and linked terms is still an expression used in many ex-British Empire and now Commonwealth militaries and police forces. Calling someone a liar for something where one can find numerous examples of such usage on the internet is not appropriate. Defense btw is an American spelling of the word defence. All 'defense'and security wings to (do) that'? Where? Not in the Commonwealth at least from quickly googling for example, Nigeria, Kenya, Jamaica passing out parades
