Grandmothers are part of Families...sure enough there is an eppie dealing with Grandmothers'! And actress Jessica Booker who was Soapy Sue in "Soap" eppie would have been a great Grandma in "Grandma" eppie! She looked the part of a Grannie!

When Jodie tells Muffy there is no photographer coming by and it's just her taking the photos..she is foreshadowing Season 6's eppie, Phil"s Visit where the alcohalic photographer and friend of Sam's comes by!

Thanks for uploading this I remember seeing this on vhs when I was 7 in 1991 a neighbor had a lot of episodes on vhs I remember seeing a episode on Nickelodeon in 1990 I was 6 I believe it was the snow episode I know I repeated this comment but I think KZread deleted my earlier comment 😌

I'm just glad they're not remaking this show; it would be really stupid because times have really changed since the 1980s. Some studios will pull a stunt like this so they won't have to release the original show on dvd or streaming services.

Hmm. There was a Twilight Zone like that.

Hi, it would be great to see more episodes. There's one I'm looking for in particular; I think this is from "Today's Special" (though perhaps I'm wrong, it may be from e.g. "Polka Dot Door"): there was a story about a prince who didn't like being a prince and so he ran off from the palace; he came to a pond where a frog complained about its life too. A dragonfly fairy offered to turn them into each other for a week and let them try out the other one's life. They switched their roles around and the prince-frog and the frog-prince found that they prefered their original lives and were glad to be changed back. Do you recognize this? If you do, it would be nice if you could upload the episode.

Hey, that episode doesn't sound familiar, but I haven't seen all of the episodes yet, so I will definitely keep an eye out for that one as I go through these. I don't have any Polka Dot Door, but if I do come across the series, I will attempt to make a channel (assuming the original copyright owners allow) and link it under my affiliated channels.

I'd like to see the episode, Hello Friend, when Jodie brings her friend Levi to the store to meet everyone. Levi had Cerebral Palsy was in a wheelchair, and couldn't talk. Sam doesn't think Levi can do anything because he can't walk or talk, but he proves it at the end when he helps get the gang out of a stuck elevator. The title of the show is in Bliss symbols, and TXL can't translate it. Bliss symbols were a way for people with Cerebral Palsy to communicate if they couldn't talk. They were on a board attached to the wheelchair and they would point to the symbols. They're probably not being used now because of voice synthesizers.

I think I know what you talking about-it was book from the Polka-dot Door read by Cindy Cook..but I can't remember the name of the book..sorry this is much help..

@@user-nw9mz3vu3s You may well be right. Thank you. BTW, it may not have been from a published book; as far as I can tell, a number of the stories told during the Polka Dot Door storytime segments were likely written and illustrated specifically for the show.

Sam should have showed Sourpuss Sal from the episode "Smiles" the babies in this eppie to get her to smile. Or they should have brought a baby into the store on the episode "Smiles" to get Sal to smile!

The reason Sal never smiled was never explained...could have been many reasons...she may have lost her husband, death in the family, divorce, clinical depression, bi-polor..or just toxic,...rejection.
