If you can print your own money.... And you borrow the money from yourself... How can you ever default? I can see borrowing some other persons money (Countries) being and issue... But not when you print your own and borrow your own.

I'm glad the disparity between the Shanghai vs. Comex precious metals spot price is on your radar. This question has bugged me for awhile now. Determining spot price just seems so subjective where ever one looks.

I would rather purchase the physical, gold and silver, rather than purchase mining stock at the present time. If the "crack-up boom" takes place in the US, and the brokerage firms, where all your mining stocks are held - in pooled accounts" and the Central Clearing Parties both become insolvent, then you lose ALL your stocks. The Great Taking! So, rather purchase the physical over "paper stocks". If you cannot hold the physical - then you do not own it. Rather be happy and save, than be sorry chasing profits from rising prices in mining shares.
Eric looks like he's enjoying "retirement".
It didn't or never will outperform the cryptos. Bitcoin has outperformed every other asset since it's inception. By multitudes.

You're all going to have to wait until the financial system fails to EVER get around the manipulation and see a normal price for anything. Unfortunately, by then, the new value will be paid in central bank digital currency after yhey revalue the dollar. Then take out your 60 percent capital gains, and you'll have less than you started with. Learn and understand crypto currency.

@@arjunrajesh8396 no it's not. They just think it is. All the ETFs are going to do is lead people to self custody. They'll never be able to get their hands on enough Bitcoin to control the price. Wait until you see the price in a couple years from now.
