Today I decided to try something new and made my own homemade dandelion syrup! It's incredibly easy to make and delicious

Ingredients:
300 fresh dandelion flowers
1 liter of water
1 kg of sugar
1 orange
1 lemon
Instructions:
Rinse the dandelion flowers and remove the green stems.
Put 1 orange and 1 lemon, coarsely chopped flowers or dandelion petals, in a pot with water and boil for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and leave to infuse for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, strain the liquid through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
Return the liquid to the pot and add the sugar.
Simmer for about 2 hours or until the syrup thickens slightly.
Pour the hot syrup into sterilized bottles and close tightly.
My Homemade Dandelion Syrup is perfect for sweetening teas, fruit juices or to flavor cakes or served with cheeses. Try it and let me know what you think!

    Io la faccio con tutto gambo e fiori senza togliere niente, è dolce biologico , canna di zucchero bio.
