My dad was one of the pastors at the Billy Graham Crusade in Fargo, at the time my dad was the pastor at the church in Harwood (the 1st town North of Fargo). I know that my dad went at least one time to it, maybe all 3 times. It was at NDSU’s Dakota Field. When I was in the Navy at my last duty station, Treasure Island in SF Bay. And Billy Graham had 3 crusades in San Francisco, 3 in San Jose and 3 in Oakland. I was an usher at one of the crusades in Oakland. The musical people were DC Talk and Michael W. Smith. That’s why I love this song. My dad died Friday. It’s true. Choose you this day who you will serve? Will you serve your self to make yourself as happy as possible and everything you enjoy. My dad raised over a million pounds of food for a food bank in Fargo over the years of his doing this. He cared so deeply for people who were homeless and starving, or who had a lot less then he did. My dad and mom even had homeless people living with them from time to time because they had no where else to go. And sometimes they didn’t have any money for food either. So my dad and mom fed them too.

I love this message! Even Christian’s need to repent of their sins. We do not stop sinning just because Jesus saved us! We just have a change of heart and the Holy Spirit who is there to guide us to continually grow and sin less.

I want to become a missionary or work at a church doing something for God not my personal interest I would be ok with making minimum wage just so I can pay for my personal things like my vehicle and food to eat I don't care about anything else I don't need a house I would be ok if. I could rent a studio or if the church would have. A room I can rent I just want to stay as close as I can to the word of God n to serve him as best as I can for the remainder of my life here on earth I need to be around christian people it's hard being around people of the world or people who say they are christian but always try and get me to go drink and smoke weed I know God would not accept us into his kingdom trying to serve two Gods

I remember hearing this when I was a kid and thought that this was just another beautiful Tobymac song. And now that I am 22 years old and have lived a bit I can say I was a citizen on my knees. And after that moment I have not had suicidal thoughts since 2019, and it all started in that room listening to no longer slaves to fear and got on my knees and cried out to God.

God is my #1 and my priority

After 5 years and countless times of falling to the bottom of the valley, I finally came to Christ again as I could no longer live in the darkness. I'm so glad this song exists as it reached me when I was in the darkest of darkest nights

This was about two years ago when I learned about this song, I was laying in bed praying on a Sunday night after telling my parents I'm leaving the Catholic faith. My radio turned on and went static, it then brought this song on K-LOVE. It was an absolute miracle, and today I brought over 300 families all over the states of Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin to the Catholic faith. And I couldn't be happier.

Mr. Mac, you are an inspiration. Mr. Billy Graham sadly died today two years ago. But he is with our Father in Heaven, bless you and your family. Lord, i thank you for bringing amazing men such as these. Amen.

Remember me with kindness and mercy, God. See me through the lens of forgiveness that blurs my vision. Thank you for forgiving me when I was not walking in your ways. When Graham talks about the redemption of all of Nenevah and then excitingly says “that can happen here!!!” In another he says, “I believe it can happen tonight...I really do!” It’s so felt with glorified redemption it gets my heart every time. “Now you come up here now...you come..” 😢🙏❤️ This song goes so very perfectly with Billy’s sermon. He’s such a missed man, thank You Lord for allowing his crusades to lol be available to us here. I am so thankful. Why do I keep preaching?? Billy Graham is asked. “The word of the lord has come into me and He tells me to Go...go and preach the word of the gospel for as long as I have breath” Oh how wonderful Mr. Graham was, and how amazing our lord is! I've wondered where Billy Graham got him number when he said "city of probably 600,000 people." God said in Jonah 4:11 that it was a city of over 120,000. That is a pretty big spread. if the city was close to 600K people, one would think that God would say so, because presumably God can count.
