I don't think it matters how much he was worth. He was a devoted husband and father. He helped a lot of people and has cancer center for kids and their families who are going through treatment. Did a lot of shows for the military.

I agree. This video should not have been about his net worth but about his love of the military and for his family and fans. There are so many other aspects they could have discussed about Toby other than how much money he was worth. None of that money can go to his grave with him, but all of his accomplishments and life certainly can!

Toby Keith was my country music hero. He was also a good husband and father. I saw him play a concert in Ruidoso Downs , NM at the race track. He was phenomenal and the concert was awesome. Toby Keith was and is and always will be a legend. Rest in peace.

I met Toby in Afghanistan in 2012. He was on a USO tour. Supporting us troops deployed over there. He was awesome. He really cared about us. I don’t think he cared about money as much as the troops. He sacrificed so much to build up our moral. I will miss him. His music will last forever. The time he spent talking to me was worth more to me than any money. Thanks Toby Keith!

Money is not what it’s about. His love for God, family and country is what makes him rich. His fans did not love him for his money, they loved him for his talent and love of country and our military. He was real, not a phony. I’m sure I will see him some day in person.

I can't believe his is gone either, my favorite memory of him is a friend of mine was a limousine driver for him, he treated her very well. A real good guy, he will be missed but has wonderful songs and life. Love you Toby Keith. Thanks for sharing

Loved Toby! I can't believe that he's gone. Aa an Oklahoman, it's just especially sad. I will miss seeing him on the sidelines at OU games. As the mom of a soldier, his support of our troops really endeared him to me and to our military troops. He was so kind and respectful to my son, something we will always remember.

I admire him for lending his talents to his country following one of our nations darkest hours (9/11/2001). Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue (The Angry American) is right up there with Lee Greenwood’s Proud to be an American. His visiting the troops fighting the war on Terror, etc is what puts him at the top of my list. RIP Mr. Keith.

That’s how I learned TK owned a piece of the label Taylor Swift signed on to. Toby admitted in 2016 interview with Chicago Tribune that he can live off the money from Taylor Swift’s music for rest of his career even if he never made another album. I knew he had restaurants and a liquor brand but didn’t know he owned a golf course too! Love this guy and his music so much and so smart in figuring out how to make more money beyond talent and popularity. He worked so hard, tells it like it is, and content with what he had. He was generous with his foundation helping sick kids and loved performing for our soldiers. I’m sad cancer robbed him time with his family but grateful for all the music he left for us to enjoy.

Loved, loved, loved his music. From riding in my mini van to soccer with my baby girl as a young teen at the time with “who’s your Daddy” CRANKED! Was a great memory, and then to seeing him in person, on stage in Camrose, Alberta with my baby girl again, in 2019…loved the performer, loved his music, loved that he was a genuine, great human being. He worked hard, really hard, to get to where he was. He deserved everything he acquired. So sad he had to be taken so young.Very, very sincere sympathies to his wife and family

As well as the crew! Most of the time that isnt the case, especially with "rock stars". It seems most c/w acts are the coolest. Reba too! Man, I was really bummed when I found out he died. I never heard of tobi in the nineties because I wasn't listening to any country music until he was making the news recently and caught my attention because of the faith that he believed in and it touched my faith I have and I beleive the same way he did and I still do. But the sad part is we have to die which is heart breaking to the spouse and childrenit sucks I know exactly how his family is feeling the loss of him I lost my husband of 29 years and I am still not liking it it only gets softer not easier and it's still not what we wanted to happen but them being with god now is what god intended for all. To return home where we came from I'm sad for his wife and family he was a very good looking man in his younger days that was a blessing for his career to be what it was and I'm still listening to tobis music I love the songs he wrote his life story is wonderful to know about and very interesting to say the least I give you my deepest condolences and my heart tears up for you at this time in your life . I was privileged to see Toby Keith in concert in So IL in the 90’s. He had construction type scaffolding as decoration on the stage. He came out on the very top pier, strums his guitar, ran down another length, again strummed his guitar, ran down the final stretch onto the stage, fell & busted his a$$ but never missed a lick or a note! He got up, apologized & had a good laugh 😂 Needless to say the concert was Awesome!

I really don’t care how much money Toby had. I care about what he gave of his money, his time, his faith and himself. He was a generous, caring person. I look forward to seeing him and hearing him again some day.
